Bacarri Rambo, FS, Georgia

Georgia Bulldogs free safety Bacarri Rambo has a great all-around game to go along with his fantastic name. He seems to play better in zone coverage and will have to respond positively to questions regarding his somewhat checkered off-field problems.

Rambo is hit or miss when it comes to recognizing and diagnosing the play. Has enough speed to get to the sideline when in deep coverage. Center field zone coverage is above-average. Sometimes he looks to be a step faster than anyone on the field and then will be a step late the next play. Keeps his eyes fixed on the receivers and doesn't rely on looking at the quarterback. Will need more experience if asked to play in man coverage. Must improve back pedal and learn to play with more flexibility from the waist down. Breaks out of pedal quickly and shows a nice burst when closing to the football.

Tackling is not a strength and will look to collision tackle at times. Too often goes for big hit and must break down and wrap-up. For his size, he should be more powerful and tackling technique is holding him back. Takes sharp, decisive angles to the ball carrier. Average hands despite high INT totals.

Rambo projects as a late round choice in the 2013 NFL Draft.

Prediction: 3rd Round

I think he could slip into the 4th round, but has a high ceiling and can be coached up.
