2013 NFL Draft Prospect Scouting Report:
person

Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama

Alabama Crimson Tide offensive guard Chance Warmack is the best interior line prospect in the 2013 NFL Draft class. He is a thick and explosive blocker that should excel at the next level given his excellent strength and tenacity.

Warmack is a natural run blocker. Using his powerful lower body and leg drive, he can dictate terms with opposing defenders to create running lanes. Not only is he strong, but he is a student of the game with proficient technique. Shows a good knee-bend without leaning too far forward. He has a good awareness and can pick up blitzers without over-committing to one assignment.

The 6'3", 320 lb. guard is also very good in pass protection. He utilizes a good punch and arm extension to keep defenders away from his body. Good footwork helps him from getting eaten up by bull rushers. Does well to hold his ground and not walk back into the pocket.

As one of the best offensive guards in this draft class, there is a potential for him to be drafted very early. Warmack can expect to hear his name among the first 15 picks of the 2013 NFL Draft.
