2013 NFL Draft Prospect Scouting Report:
Christine Michael, RB, Texas A&M
Michael saw limited action as a senior because of problems with his head coach. As a sophomore, he broken his right leg and in his junior season, he tore his ACL. Fumbled often and battled with those issues at the Shrine Game.
Runs very hard to the point where he can be reckless with his body, especially during collisions. Has a really nice cut and jump-cut. Can evade defenders in the backfield and find daylight. Hits the hole hard and has a definite knack for finding cut-back angles. Excellent anticipation and vision. Great leverage and lateral movement skills.
Limited experience as a pass catcher. Will probably begin his career as a two-down option in a backup/reserve role. Pass protection is average at best.
Michael projects as a third to fourth round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.
