2013 NFL Draft Prospect Scouting Report:
person

Rick Wagner, OT, Wisconsin

Wisconsin Badgers offensive tackle Rick Wagner is likely a right tackle prospect only due to his athletic limitations and excellent run blocking. A hustle player. Underwhelming in pass protection. Footwork and foot speed are the main issue. Typically deflects edge speed rushers out of the play rather than latching on. Very good upper body strength. Will likely provide depth at OT early in his career. Might slide inside to guard or at least get a look there as well. Always seems to be in the right place and stays on assignment. Not a mauler. Not an explosive blocker.
