Missouri Tigers Zaviar Gooden is a team leader with excellent athleticism and the talents to contribute as a three-down defender. Excellent coverage skills due to fluidity in lower body. Breaks down well in open space. Elite range for an OLB. Slightly undersized. Big hands. Team captain. Aggressive style of play sometimes has him out of position. Not physical or powerful enough to take on blockers. Sometimes indecisive and a step late (or more) diagnosing certain plays. Quick, fast feet. Not great with pursuit angles. Still growing into position.
