2013 NFL Draft Prospect Scouting Report:
Brandon Williams, DT, Missouri Southern State
Very stout at the point of attack and played like a man among boys against lesser competition. Moves very well for his size. Excellent upper body strength and shows a willingness to move blockers off their mark. Williams was given free reign because of his talent and will need to learn to stay on assignment in the NFL. Plays with a nasty predisposition without bending the rules. Great bull rush techniques and really looks to get inside a blocker's frame to drive him back. Quick hands and a powerful punch on first contact.
Bends well inside and fights for leverage with a good second-effort. Exhibits quick feet and keeps them moving when taking on blockers. Not likely to be an every-down player, but close to it. Shows a good motor in the second-half. Adequate height for the position, but it is paired with above-average strength and athleticism.
Williams projects as a second round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.

Brandon Williams might be the second best DT in the draft behind Sheldon Williams. He's got amazing quickness and strength. He is pushing 340 but looks and plays more like an inflated middle linebacker.

I've watched Brandon Williams play the past several years and tell you this DT is going to make an impact in the NFL. He has dominate speed, power and agility. At the Senior Bowl practice this week in Mobile Alabama Brandon is making the D1 offensive linemen look woefully under skilled. I project Brandon will be drafted in the 5th round but he should be drafted in the second or third. A sharp DC will grab him, but at the same time they will attempt to steal him.
