2013 NFL Draft Prospect Scouting Report:

J.C. Tretter, OG, Cornell

Cornell University offensive guard J.C. Tretter is a mid-round prospect with above-average toughness and excellent awareness.

Improvements in his hand placement, arm extension and first punch would really take him to another level. Good jump off the line and does an adequate job with initiating contact. Strong when latched on. Agility is sufficient, but struggles with redirection. Recovery movements are lacking and will get washed on if beat early. Quick into the second level. Misses the occasional stunt or twist. Sometimes too aggressive, will miss a block in open space. Mauler's attitude, looks to bury his opponent often.
