2013 NFL Draft Prospect Scouting Report:
person

JJ Wilcox, SS, Georgia Southern

Georgia Southern Eagles safety J.J. Wilcox is a well-rounded player who can provide run support and play solid zone coverages. His excellent week down at the Senior Bowl has solidified him as a projected Day 2 prospect.

Wilcox has played multiple positions throughout his young football career. He can line up in the box and function as an additional linebacker. Adequate straight-line speed and enough acceleration to play a centerfield zone. Physical style of play. Looks to separate the ball from the receiver. Excellent short area quickness. Possesses enough athleticism to have starter upside at the next level.
