2013 NFL Draft Prospect Scouting Report:
person

Nick Kasa, TE, Colorado

Colorado Buffs tight end Nick Kasa is new to the position after beginning his collegiate career at defensive end. Very raw route running and untapped potential is high. Grew into the position in senior season. Caught 25 passes for 391 yards and three touchdowns. Great length and athleticism. Ran a 4.71 40-yard dash and 22 reps in the bench press. Very willing blocker. Can't quite anchor the edge yet. More lower body strength needed. Moves very well, fluid in open spaces. Adequate arm length. Good core strength and solid leaping ability. Should compete for No. 2 TE spot immediately.
