2013 NFL Draft Prospect Scouting Report:
person

David King, DE, Oklahoma

Oklahoma Sooners defensive end David King is a versatile inside or outside prospect. He could provide depth in the short term anywhere along a defensive line. Would benefit most by adding more bulk, particularly in a 3-4 defense. Inconsistent disengaging out of blocks. Good contain and anchor. Two-gap defender. Nice punch and first contact with arms extension. Keeps his eyes up well and will get arms to disrupt passing lanes. Not productive enough in college. Must keep pads low and drive through his lower body. Will get eaten up by double teams. Doesn't flow to the football very well.
