2014 NFL Draft Prospect Scouting Report:

Jeremiah Attaochu, OLB, Georgia Tech

Attaochu is a highly aggressive and rangy OLB prospect out of Georgia Tech. He is a downhill player who must learn to play a more contained and disciplined brand of football.

An excellent all-around linebacker who did a little bit of everything for the Yellow Jackets. Floundered at times during the Senior Bowl and will need time to adjust playing a more traditional OLB role. At his best along the line of scrimmage and hitting the edge on a pass rush. Active hands and quick change of direction. Good strength when taking on blockers. Elite backside pursuit. Chippy playing style. A bit too aggressive at times and will over-pursue and bite on double moves.

Above-average bend on the edge. Fast off the snap and can cut inside with ease. Struggles with balance and seems to struggle against stronger opponents. Could slip in draft if many teams feel he won't pan out as a 4-3 OLB. Clearest path to playing time would come as a 3-4 OLB. Above-average motor with passionate intensity in his play.

Attaochu projects as a late second to early third round option for the 2014 NFL Draft.

Prediction: 2nd Round

Excellent pass rusher, with size to develop into run defender, and he is aggressive. With the NFL becoming such a pass-oriented league, teams are placing high value on rushing the quarterback.
