1 - KC: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
KC is ready for a total organizational overhaul. Combine that with the #1 overall pick and you usually get a new franchise QB. Geno Smith IMO is the best of a weak QB class and possibly the only real 1st rd talent at the position. We'll have to wait and see on Barkleys and Wilson offseason workouts.

2 - JAX: Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M
Without a quality franchise passer available the Jags will look to imporve on its 31st ranked defense. It will either be Jones or Moore here, and Jones is obviously the favorite. I believe though Moore will test excellently in predraft workouts, that along with his natural bigger size/frame fills the Jags need for a three down hand in the ground DE.

3 - OAK: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
If the Raiders have any brains at all in the front office(questionable), they'll see what Von Miller is doing in Denver, go out and get this yrs version of him. Looking at the 2013 draft at this early junture Jones is probably the #1 overall prospect.

4 - CLE: Sam Montgomery, DE, LSU
My early run on front 7 edge defenders continues here. The Browns are a team on the come in my opinion, but there are going to be more changes in the front office again. If they're smart they will continue to build that front 7 with Montgomery. Shread and him will make nice bookends with the two big guys in the middle to help contain guys like Rice and Rothlisburger in thier division,

5 - PHI: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
The dream has really become a nightmare in Philly. There will be major changes in the organization. Asomugha who is due a boatload of $ in 2013 my become could be released and DRC has been medicore at best. Milliner has the size and speed to man up against NFL recievers and should be a ready to start CB his rookie yr.

6 - CAR: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
Carolinas weakness has been thier run defense this yr. Dwan Edwards has been pretty solid at on DT position, but Ron Edwards is entering his mid 30s and on IR for the rest of this yr. Big and explosive off the snap Lotulelei will instantly be in the DT rotation with the potentiol to be a game changer in the middle as the Panthers try to slow down the fast temp NFC south offenses.

7 - BUF: Matt Barkley, QB, USC
Personally I think this is too high for Barkley. But he did come into the yr as the consenses #1 QB and the Bills, who usually telegraph where they want to go with thier draft stratagy are saying they want a franchise QB in this yrs draft. It's a boom or bust pick, but Barkley does have the physical tools and aptitude to be a franchise NFL QB. Maybe some time behind the inconsistant Fitzy to learn the nuances of the NFL game he could be the right guy here. I just don't see it right now.

8 - SD: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
The Chargers seem to always have a load of talent but underachieve under Turner. I would say thier weak like right now is the offense tackle position. Gaither is always banged up and Clary is'nt bad but is'nt great. Joeckel can come in an fill the LT position instantly, while the other two battle for the right tackle spot.

9 - NYJ: Jake Matthews, OT, Texas A&M
Odd yes, but I could see back to back A&M OTs going in the top ten. The Jets are a mess, can't protect Sanchez and the ground and pound startagy can't work with out some road graders. Matthews fits the ladder an excellent run blocker who will be an instant upgrade over Howard at RT.

10 - TEN: Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State
The loss of Finnagan last offseason was a big blow to the Titans defense. An upgrade across from McCourty will help boost thier 26th ranked pass defense. Rhodes is big and physical and should match up well with the bigger NFL WRs.

11 - ARI: Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame
I know the Cards desperatly need upgrades at QB and OT. But with niether position having players grading out even close to this spot they either trade out or try to trade out or take the dynamic, playmaking defensive leader that is Te'o. They already have a very solid defensive unit and with the addition of Te'o next to Washington they could be 49eresqe. Expect a lot of 13-10 games down in the desert.

12 - DET: Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU
Vanden Boshc is getting long in the tooth and Avril is going to want a large contract. If they can retain Avril and still draft Mingo they could have an excellent set of ends to go along with thier dominant inside lineman. Mingo is an excellent edge rusher who also has the versitility to play OLB. Should be an excellent compliment to thier front 7.

13 - STL: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
Fisher will continue to build his defense from the inside out. Drafting a future stud Brockers last yr, they will find a hidden gem close to home in Richardson this yr. Right around 300lbs Richardson is fast off the ball and very tough to handle at the point of attack. I believe his stock will rise greatly during offseason workouts.

14 - MIA: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
The Fins will also stay within thier own state to upgrade thier front 7. With Wake on one side and the high motor Werner on the other they could really have a disruptive pass rush. Werner has the size, speed and intensity to really be a solid to dominant DE in the NFL.

15 - STL: Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee
After shoring up his front 7 with thier first pick in this rd, Fisher will look to get a big bodied, physical WR. Petis has the size but not really the speed to fill that spot. Hunter should be an excellent compliment to Amendola and give Bradford a true down the field threat.

16 - NO: Johnathan Hankins, DT, Ohio State
The Saints defense has been pitiful this yr. Particularly thier 31st ranked rushing D. If, and it's a big if, Hankins falls to them they get a gift. Hankins is a monster that should fill the middle of that weak front four instantly.

17 - DAL: Jonathan Jenkins, DT, Georgia
Ratliff while being a solid player, is constantly hurt and a little undersized for a 34 NT. With Jenkins they get a 350 athletic monster to anchor the middle while Radcliff can rotate at end and in the middle. Possibly giving him the chance to stay fresh and healthy.

18 - CIN: Giovani Bernard, RB, North Carolina
Signing BJGE as a feature back was a mistake. He's not bad, just not worth lead back $. Giovani is the home run threat that Green-Ellis is'nt. The Bengals keep stockpiling offensive playmakers and are a very young and dangerous offense.

19 - TB: Johnthan Banks, CB, Mississippi State
The iron fisted Schiano shipped off the trouble Talib and Barber is very long in the tooth but still an ok CB. With that the Bucs desperatly need to upgrade thier 31st ranked pass defense. In comes the rangy athletic Banks, who has been extremely productive in the nations top conference.

20 - MIN: Keenan Allen, WR, California
When Harvin gets banged up( about 3-4 games a yr) the Vikes are completly void of an outside threat. Allen will instantly upgrade a young offense on the verge of being a top tier unit in the NFL. Having prototypical size and speed to be an outside threat in the NFL Allen should fit nicely with the likes of AP, Harvin and Rudolph. Ponder has no reason not to become a better QB with those weapons.

21 - PIT: Kenny Vaccaro, SS, Texas
As great of a player as he is Polamalu can not stay on the field for a full season. He's not getting any younger and Will Allen is an average 30 yr old backup. Vaccaro can play either safety and will give some youth and stability to the back end of an aging defense

22 - SEA: Terrance Williams, WR, Baylor
Seattle has a very stout defensive unit, a solid ground game and a young QB that looks like he has "it". What's missing is consistant production out of thier outside WR spot. Rice has his moments but his career has been injury plagued and Tate is more suited for the slot. Williams has the ability to make the home run play and is also a solid route runner. At worst he gives much needed depth to thier WR core.

23 - IND: Taylor Lewan, OT, Michigan
For the next 10-15 yrs the Colts franchise will be determined my how great Andrew Luck is going to be. Early on the future looks very bright. And when you get a young QB of Lucks caliber it a wise move to get as much protection as possible for that investment. While Indys OTs are'nt terrible, Lewan has the ability to be a cornerstone LT. At very worst it gives them more quality moving parts along thier OLine.

24 - NYG: David Amerson, CB, North Carolina State
It seems like the Giants always are in need of healthy bodies in thier defensive secondary. They could use an upgrade over Webster and Hosley has'nt shown it IMO. Amerson is a big, ball hawking CB that could very well be a big time shutdown corner in the NFL

25 - GB: Tony Jefferson, FS, Oklahoma
During thier superbowl run a couple yrs back the Pack had a very oppurtunistic defense. They seem to have lost that the last couple yrs. With a fierce pass rush a playmaker like Jefferson could return them to some of that turnover creating defense

26 - DEN: Kawann Short, DT, Purdue
With outstanding edge rushers Denvers defense is on the verge of becoming a dominant unit. With a little tweaking in the middle of the front 7 its very possible. Short will be a prefect compliment to thier edge rushers. He's got good size at 6"3" 310 and has lived in Big ten backfields the last couple yrs.

27 - CHI: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
The Bears need help all across thier OLine. While OT is probably thier biggest need OG is'nt far behind, and Warmack grades out as the best OLineman left on the board. His specialty is run blocking, but improving the ground game with Forte and Bush can only help Cutler and company get some room on reasonable down and distance passing situations.

28 - NE: Barrett Jones, OG, Alabama
The Pats are a pretty solid team across the board. IMO Jones is the best available player at a position of semi need. Mankins has had issues staying on the field the last couple yrs and the other interior lineman while effective are pedestrian. Bellichick loves versatility in his players and Jones is an intelligent OLineman that can play practically any OLine spot. The anchor of a some great Bama Olines the last couple yrs he'll be a perfect fit for New England

29 - SF: Jordan Poyer, CB, Oregon State
Another well rounded the 9ers are'nt really in dire need at any one position. Already dominant defense could have one semi weak link at CB. Rodgers is solid but will be 32 next season and depth is'nt super impressive. Poyer is an extremely athletic corner that should fit in well in nickle situations.

30 - BAL: Alex Okafor, DE, Texas
The Ravens have had a dominant defense now for a decade and a half. That being said thier Linebacking core is aging. Suggs has a lot of milage on his 30 yr old body and Krugar IMO is average. Okafer is a very similiar body type to Suggs and has been a disruptive force in the Big12. Along with Upshaw the Ravens may have two dominant OLBs for another decade

31 - HOU: DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Clemson
Andre Johnson is having a great rebound season. The fact remains as it has for several yrs now, they don't have a real threat oppisite of him. Walter is ok, but that is about it. With Hopkins they add a quick slot type playmaker. If he pans out, this Texans team could become even more of a nightmare for opposing Ds for another couple yrs before the core ages.

32 - ATL: Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame
Tony G is about to retire. If Atlanta wins it all this yr, he most certainly will and even if they don't he's very very close to the end. Eifert is the perfect fit for this Atlanta team.
