1 - KC: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
Barring a massive injury to Smith, the Chiefs have to go QB here. No other player would add as much value to this team as Smith would
2 - JAX: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
The Jaguars need pass rushers, and are likely going to need to replace Daryl Smith. They save some money and add a top-shelf LB that can rush and cover
3 - OAK: Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame
The Raiders should dump Rolando McClain after this season and replace him with Te'o. He been a stud for ND, and should bring some leadership to this defense
4 - PHI: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
This pick makes more sense than any other player the Eagles could go with. Joeckel gives them an excellent young OT that can start at RT if Peters returns or LT if he doesn't
5 - CAR: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
The Panthers will be thrilled if Lotulelei is still on the board here. They fill their biggest need with one of the top 3 players on the board
6 - ARI: Taylor Lewan, OT, Michigan
The Cardinals could look at Wilson or Barkley here, but I think they should strongly consider going with Lewan here and looking for a QB in the 2nd or 3rd round
7 - CLE: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
The Browns get a strong, physical pass rusher to pair with Jabaal Sheard. Werner is a beast at FSU and adds another good playmaker to this defense
8 - TEN: Johnathan Hankins, DT, Ohio State
The Titans take the top player on the board here and add a really good DT to pair with Jurel Casey
9 - SD: Jake Matthews, OT, Texas A&M
The Chargers take a bit of a reach to fill their biggest need. The emergence of Denario Alexander should help Rivers, and adding Matthews will give him more time to find his fast receivers
10 - DET: Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M
The Lions go for the top player on the board here, and fill what will likely be a giant hole at DE as Cliff Avril's franchise tag will be up
11 - NYJ: Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU
The Jets land the top pass rusher on the board here. Mingo is raw, but his athletic ability should make him a highly considered target here
12 - BUF: Matt Barkley, QB, USC
The Bills take the next QB that is most likely to develop into a franchise QB. Barkley has NFL accuracy and awareness, and will be a perfect fit for Buffalo's West Coast offense
13 - STL: C.J. Mosley, OLB, Alabama
(from WAS) The Rams take the best player on the board here and get a good, young OLB to pair with Laurinaitis
14 - NO: Sam Montgomery, DE, LSU
The Saints need pass rushers, especially at DE. Montgomery has good value here, and gives them a nice DE that could replace Will Smith, who might be to expensive to bring back
15 - MIA: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
The Dolphins shouln't reach for a WR or TE here. Instead, they go for the top CB on the board, and get a really nice player to pair with Sean Smith
16 - STL: Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee
Hunter has the most upside of any WR on the board, and the Rams need playmakers for Bradford. Eifert and Allen could also be in consideration, but i think they'll go for the explosive Hunter here
17 - DAL: Barrett Jones, OG, Alabama
The Cowboys could look at Warmack here, as he's the top o-lineman available, but Jones should hold more value to them as he can start at any OL position
18 - MIN: Keenan Allen, WR, California
The Vikings need a #1 WR to pair with Percy Harvin. They could also go QB here, but they need to fill out their skill positions before making a change
19 - TB: Johnthan Banks, CB, Mississippi State
The Bucs should be looking at Banks and Eric Reid here. I think their need at CB is bigger than at FS, and Banks should be the pick
20 - CIN: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
The Bengals like to take the top player on the board, and they need another young guard to pair with Zeitler
21 - IND: Jonathan Jenkins, DT, Georgia
The Colts would like Warmack, but instead opt for a NT to anchor their 34 defense
22 - PIT: Jesse Williams, DT, Alabama
The Steelers also go NT. Williams will be a nice addition to this defense as a successor to Casey Hampton
23 - SEA: Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame
The Seahawks need more targets for Russell Wilson, and go for the best one on the board here. Eifert's size and hands should make him an early favorite in Seattle
24 - SF: Eric Reid, FS, LSU
The 49ers need to address their safety positons, where neither starter should be brought back. Reid would be a massive upgrade over Gholson
25 - NYG: Alec Ogletree, ILB, Georgia
The Giants go MLB here and add a dominating SEC player that can bring some star power to their defense
26 - CHI: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
Webb is a disaster, and Carimi is a disappointment. I wouldn't be surprised if the Bears ended up with 2 different starters at LT and RT next season. Fisher could fill one of those spots
27 - DEN: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
The Broncs need DT help. Richardson decided to declare for the draft early, and should be off the board around here
28 - BAL: Kenny Vaccaro, SS, Texas
The Ravens are going to need to replace Ed Reed soon, and should look for a player with playmaking ability. Vaccaro's versatility and athletic ability should make hima nice choice to replace Reed
29 - GB: Robert Woods, WR, USC
The Packers should be looking to replace Greg Jennings, and Cobb looks to have the fast track to his spot. Nelson is a good #2, but Woods would be a much better #3 than Jones, and can take the #2 spot when Nelson moves on
30 - NE: Tavon Austin, WR, West Virginia
The Patriots may opt to not resign Wes Welker, making this an excellent pick. They'll need a slot receiver to replace him, and Austin is best one in the draft
31 - ATL: Dion Jordan, DE, Oregon
The Falcons need a DE to replace Ray Edwrds. Jordan's stock has been up and down all year, but i can't see him faling out of the 1st round
32 - HOU: Terrance Williams, WR, Baylor
The Texans go WR as well. They badly need a #2 target, and Wiliams has the skill and potential to develop into a #1 when they need to replace Andre Johnson
