2/23 tonyem11's Mock Draft
1 - KC: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
With the talent at RB a QB like Geno Smith can help this offense flourish.
2 - JAX: Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame
Gabbert gets one more year to show some progress, until then the Jags take a LB that draws many similarities to Ray Lewis.
3 - OAK: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
The Raiders can go a number of ways with this pick, utimately they decide to fill a dire need and choose Milliner who has excellent size and speed.
4 - CLE: Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M
Moore can provide an explosive pass rush opposite Sheard.
5 - PHI: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
Philadelphia needs to address their offensive line issues and selects the best lineman in the draft.
6 - CAR: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
The Panthers look to improve their interior defensive line.
7 - BUF: Matt Barkley, QB, USC
The Bills are in need of a QB that offers some hope for their fans and Barkley just might fit that bill.
8 - SD: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
The Chargers are lucky and pick up the best player available that also fits a very big need as OLB Shaun Phillips will be a 32 year old FA next march.
9 - NYJ: Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU
The Jets will probably let Sanchez have one more go at it next year and maybe supply him with sufficient playmakers later in this draft. Until then, they select a quick and explosive pass rusher that can add some youth to the OLB position.
10 - TEN: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
The Titans aren't getting the production they were hoping for from Wimbley. They are also thin at the DE position.
11 - ARI: Tyler Wilson, QB, Arkansas
Maybe a strong showcasing at the Senior Bowl can make teams forget about this past season that Wilson just had. The QB situation in Arizona is flat out ugly at this point.
12 - DET: Johnthan Banks, CB, Mississippi State
The Lions defense needs to improve, especially in the secondary and they select a battle tested CB from the SEC.
13 - STL: Keenan Allen, WR, California
With Miami looming and looking to maybe grab WR Keenan Allen, the Dolphins take away that hope and provide Bradford with a big playmaker. With two draft choices in the first round the Rams can feel secure with this pick.
14 - MIA: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
The Dolphins look to upgrade the OG position by drafting the best interior lineman in this draft.
15 - STL: Eric Reid, FS, LSU
Reid is the best S available in this draft and automatically upgrades the Rams safety position that's average to say the least.
16 - NO: Johnathan Hankins, DT, Ohio State
Sedrick Ellis hasn't been playing to his potential and the Saints need help at the DT position.
17 - DAL: Jake Matthews, OT, Texas A&M
The Cowboys select the teammate to Joeckel hoping to improve their offensive line to open up holes for Murray and allow time for Romo to throw.
18 - CIN: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
The Bengals look to add some talent opposite Geno Atkins on the defensive line.
19 - TB: C.J. Mosley, OLB, Alabama
Tampa Bay needs help at LB and they select a smart one from one of college football's best defenses.
20 - MIN: Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida
The Vikings upgrade their DT position by drafting Floyd out of Florida.
21 - PIT: Jonathan Jenkins, DT, Georgia
Hampton is getting old and the Steelers have no clear cut replacement after Ta'amu was cut.
22 - SEA: Terrance Williams, WR, Baylor
The Seahawks have no big needs at this point so they have the luxury of upgrading the WR position.
23 - IND: Jesse Williams, DT, Alabama
The Colts pick up a true NT with prior experience at the position.
24 - NYG: Taylor Lewan, OT, Michigan
The Giants pick up a talented OT that can help protect Eli for years to come.
25 - GB: Barrett Jones, OG, Alabama
The Packers select a C that one of the game's best in Jeff Saturday can hopefully mentor.
26 - DEN: Alec Ogletree, ILB, Georgia
Brooking is up there in age and Ogletree is a fast, athletic linebacker that the Broncos like to have on their roster.
27 - CHI: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
Webb shouldn't be starting for the Bears, much less any team in the league.
28 - NE: Sam Montgomery, DE, LSU
Ninkovich is more of a stop-gap DE for the Patriots.
29 - SF: Kenny Vaccaro, SS, Texas
The Niners need to address the S position, Goldson may not be resigned after this year.
30 - BAL: Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame
Pitta and Dickson aren't helping Flacco in many ways. Flacco would love to have a big target like Eifert running across the middle.
31 - HOU: Alex Okafor, DE, Texas
Reed and Barwin are good but Okafor has greater potential and a higher upside. The Texans have no big holes to address so they use this as a luxury pick.
32 - ATL: Dion Jordan, DE, Oregon
Abraham is on the wrong side of 30 and Jordan is a physical freak much like Abraham.
