Average Rank: 3.0 out of 5 (2 votes) -- Rank This Mock Draft

1 - KC: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
Surprised? Dont be. The Chiefs need a quarterback desperately. Geno Smith may not be a first overall pick, but because the pressures the fan base has put on them (#saveourchiefs) this pick is a no brainer.
2 - JAX: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
I really want to mock a QB here, but there is no QB worth mocking here. Also Chad Henne has put on a nice performance for a few games, so Jax could sell their fan base on him for one more year (Or trade for Tebow?). Jones is a difference maker. He plays fast and angry.
3 - OAK: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
He pops off the screen as a defensive stud. He’s been compared to a lot of big defensive tackles, but the guy I keep thinking of is Haloti Ngata. With Seymour being in his final year of his contract and Kelly not doing much of anything besides drawing penalties, this is pick is needed.
4 - PHI: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
Did anyone else see Michael Vick run for this life every play of a game? Joeckel is the best Tackle prospect on the board and a no brainer for Philly. He had a great game at LSU, quieting their pass rushers (Also first round picks). Joeckel could go number one overall, so at number 4 he would definitely be the right pick.
5 - DET: Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame
Don't be surprised if this is used on a Corner, O-Line, or Defensive end though. With that being said one could argue that Te'o is the top player available here, and fits a huge need for the Lions. Durant and Levy are both free agents after this season. Te'o finished 2nd in Heisman votes and had 7 interceptions on the year. He only missed two tackles that he should've made all year, that is unheard of.
6 - SD: Taylor Lewan, OT, Michigan
The Chargers almost have to make this pick. If this pick was not made who would be their starting left tackle in 2013? Gaither?? Philip Rivers needs to prove to everyone he can steer the ship right again, but he needs protection to do that. Lewan, even though he is an underclassman, did an excellent protecting Robinson and eventually Gardiner.
7 - BUF: Matt Barkley, QB, USC
General manager Buddy Nix, who is generally forthcoming about his offseason plans, told the media that he plans on drafting a franchise quarterback. A lot of people have Tyler Wilson or Mike Glennon as the 2nd QB of the board, but Barkley is too good of a product to pass up. He is arguably the most pro ready QB. The Bills wont be fooled.
8 - CLE: Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M
Moore is projected as a top 5 pick in most mock drafts, so number 8 should be a steal right? Cleveland fans will be wanting a WR, but unless they trade down, there just isn't a WR worth it here. Moore is a 6-foot-4 terror off the edge, whose 12.5 sacks were tied for second in the nation in 2012. He led the Aggies in just about every defensive statistic last season.
9 - CAR: Johnathan Hankins, DT, Ohio State
The Panthers need help in the trenches. Hankins occupies blockers, and though listed at 322 pounds, he is likely a bit heavier.
10 - TEN: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
Milliner could be a top 5 pick, but in the mock draft he falls to 10. The Titans couldn't be happier. Dee was one of the reasons Alabama dominated. Tennessee needs to fix their 21st rated pass defense.
11 - ARI: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
Maybe a little two high for a guard/center, but Warmack is a beast. It's obvious that the cardinals need help all over their offensive line. Warmack can play day one. He was a main reason Alabama's run attack was so effective.
12 - TB: Johnthan Banks, CB, Mississippi State
How about another SEC player? TB needs secondary help. Banks is 6-foot-1, 190 pounds and can match up with receivers a bit bigger than him. A solid pick here for Tampa.
13 - MIA: Keenan Allen, WR, California
Justin Hunter is another solid choice here, but I think Allen gets the nod. At 6-foot-3 and 210 pounds, he’s got the size to be a reliable go-to receiver in the pros.
14 - NYJ: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
Werner’s a 6-foot-4 junior with quickness and strength. His 13 sacks led the ACC in 2012 and he is the current NCAA active leader in sacks with 23.5. And that’s with another year of eligibility left. Although the Jets need offensive weapons, Bjoern is too good to pass up.
15 - NO: Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU
NO needs defensive help. Their pass rush was terrible. Mingo, owner of arguably the greatest name in all of college football, had an up-and-down 2012 season. He’s still a first-round talent. At 6-foot-4, 245 pounds, he can play either defensive end or outside linebacker.
16 - STL: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
Fisher is a big name from a small school. He has dominated his MAC opponents. Sam Bradford needs an elite tackle protecting him, Fisher is that guy.
17 - PIT: Alec Ogletree, ILB, Georgia
The Steelers Linebackers are not getting any younger. Harrison might not be back next year. Plug in Ogletree. Alexander had a huge game in the SEC championship, blocking a punt that changed the game. He fits in PIT.
18 - DAL: Sam Montgomery, DE, LSU
Sam Montgomery is arguably the top player available, so Dallas can fill a big need with the top prospect on the board. Sam struggled this year, but alot of that is due to the double teams he seen.
19 - CHI: Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee
Marshal has been great, too bad thats the only thing you can say about the Bears receiving core. At 6-foot-4 and 210 pounds, he has the size and speed to be a No. 1 NFL wide receiver.
20 - NYG: Matt Elam, SS, Florida
The NYG could use some secondary help. Prince Amukamara still hasn’t stayed healthy long enough or done enough on the field to justify his first-round selection in 2011. Elam is a stud that could help out.
21 - CIN: Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU
Ezekiel is a unpolished prospect with crazy raw talent. Ezekiel Ansah doesn't have much experience, but he's a highly athletic pass-rusher who has tremendous upside.
22 - MIN: Jonathan Jenkins, DT, Georgia
Huge, fairly nimble and full of potential, he may work better in a 3-4 than Minnesota’s 4-3. Either scheme works, though.
23 - STL: Tavon Austin, WR, West Virginia
Even though I dont think WR is an absolute need for STL anymore, I dont think a Tavon pick would hurt. Tavon was great for West Virginia. He's got scary good speed.
24 - IND: Jesse Williams, DT, Alabama
They've been gashed in the running game all season because nose tackle Antonio Johnson has been pushed around. Indianapolis needs a legitimate nose tackle. An SEC NT would be a great pick.
25 - BAL: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
Like the Steelers, BAL defense is getting old. Sheldon is an excellent run stuffer that some have projected as a top 15 pick.
26 - SEA: Terrance Williams, WR, Baylor
Russel Wilson has been great this season. It is time to give him another weapon. This is a bit high for Terrance Williams, but the Seahawks don't fear taking anyone who is deemed a reach. Pete Carroll will likely fall in love with Williams' size and straight-line speed.
27 - GB: Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame
Finley has been terrible. He is also a loud mouth. Eifert will give Rodgers a true playmaker at the TE position.
28 - HOU: Cobi Hamilton, WR, Arkansas
A big reach, but it will play off. Houston needs another receiver next to Johnson, Cobi is that guy.
29 - ATL: Giovani Bernard, RB, North Carolina
Michael Turner is declining. ATL could use another stud in the back field. Bernard was a start in the ACC.
30 - DEN: C.J. Mosley, OLB, Alabama
This fits the best player available category. Mosley was a beast for Alabama. He could fit right next to Von Miller.
31 - SF: Kenny Vaccaro, SS, Texas
Donte Whitner hasn't been very good this year. Dashon Goldson, meanwhile, was slapped with a franchise tag this prior offseason. The 49ers will need a replacement if they can't sign him to a long-term deal.
32 - NE: Barrett Jones, OG, Alabama
Barrett Jones can play virtually any position on the offensive line, including center. Solid pick up for NE.
