1/24 dbris91's Mock Draft
1 - KC: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
they need a quarterback and clearly Brady Quinn and Matt Cassel are not the answer
2 - JAX: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
this would make the linebacker corp solid next year
3 - OAK: Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame
their whole defense has been horrible this year and a start would be a leader for the defense
4 - PHI: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
the offensive line had its issues but in this draft their is a lot of depth the Offensive Tackle position so they can afford to wait till the second round also with the departure of DRC and most likely Nnamdi they will need one
5 - CAR: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
with the offense taking shape and just missing a couple of pieces they can go defense this year and it start with the run defense
6 - TEN: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
they need to start protecting their franchise QB so they need get a guard which could help running up the middle with CJ2K
7 - ARI: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
they need everthing on offense but an elite WR so they either a OT or a QB but here they get an OT
8 - DET: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
with d line almost built they need to get another DE so they grab the best one available
9 - SD: Taylor Lewan, OT, Michigan
they need to protect the QB plan and Simple
10 - BUF: Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU
with how bad the run defense was they need to get someone to help stop it so why not get someone from colleges best run stopping D's
11 - MIA: Keenan Allen, WR, California
they need someone for Tannehill to throw to so they get the best play out their that can do so
12 - CLE: Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M
we can just say they need to get better on d and being able to get pressure on the QB would help which is why they make this pick
13 - NO: Johnthan Banks, CB, Mississippi State
they need to get better on pass defense so getting Banks is a start
14 - TB: Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State
after getting rid of Talib they need someone to replace him so they get Rhodes
15 - NYJ: Eric Reid, FS, LSU
they need someone to stop the deep ball and Reid can help with that
16 - STL: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
they need to get better with protecting Bradford so selecting Fisher here will do just that
17 - CIN: C.J. Mosley, OLB, Alabama
with the emergence Vontaze and the under performance of the other two Mosley would be able to step in and help right away
18 - STL: Terrance Williams, WR, Baylor
with the second pick in the first they will go with a reciving threat for Bradford to throw to
19 - DAL: Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina
with the inside of the o line not able to protect Romo they need to beef up and cooper would help with just that
20 - MIN: DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Clemson
they need to get another receiver for Ponder Hopkins would be a great option to pair up with Harvin being on the other side
21 - PIT: Alec Ogletree, ILB, Georgia
this might be a reach but the kid knows how to play and the steelers need to get younger on defense
22 - CHI: Jake Matthews, OT, Texas A&M
with the inability to protect Cutler they get a OT an Matthews can do just that protect the QB (Just like he did with Johnny Football)
23 - SEA: Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma
for the most part the o line has been solid but they need someone on the right side and Lane Johnson could do just that
24 - IND: Barrett Jones, OG, Alabama
they could use a couple of things but an interior O lineman would help a lot
25 - NYG: Khaseem Greene, OLB, Rutgers
getting Greene would be the perfect pick being that they need a linebacker
26 - GB: Montee Ball, RB, Wisconsin
they need a runing back to help the offense so why not get the NCAA rushing touchdown leader mainly cause he knows how to run
27 - BAL: Kevin Minter, ILB, LSU
yes this might be a reah but playing with Ray Lewis and learning from him why not take the "RISK"
28 - DEN: Johnathan Hankins, DT, Ohio State
having Von Miller and Elvis Dummervill protecting the outside Hankins could protect the inside
29 - SF: Jesse Williams, DT, Alabama
they need someone to play behind Kyle Smith and Williams can do just that and more if asked
30 - NE: Matt Elam, SS, Florida
they go safety here so they can move Devin McCourty back to his best position at corneerback
31 - ATL: Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame
with the age of Gonzalez they need someone who would be able to take his spot and Eifert could do just that especially with his red zone ability
32 - HOU: Tavon Austin, WR, West Virginia
he could do so much for Houston he could play slot of he could go outside and in the return game he would be lethal
