Average Rank: 2.0 out of 5 (2 votes) -- Rank This Mock Draft
1 - KC: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
With new regimes come new QB's and there is no way the chiefs will pass on Geno and wait till the second round. Geno is very accurate but not sure if he is cut out for the big game. Played in a pass happy offense with playmakers at every position.

2 - JAX: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
Jags biggest need is QB in my opinion but they aren'y possibly going to reach twice in three years in the top ten for a QB. 2nd biggest need is defensive playmaker, especially in the pass rush. I believe this pick comes down to Jones, Moore, or Werner. I prefer Werner but most people I think like Jones

3 - OAK: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
Oakland has many defensive needs but a guy that can stuff the run and push the pocket will really make the players around him in that front seven better. Star is the best DT at pushing the pile.

4 - PHI: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
This pick just makes too much sense for the Eagles. Their offensive line is awful. With Peters coming back and drafting Joeckel, their line will instantly become at least average.

5 - DET: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
Detriot needs big time help in the secondary. In my opinion, if the lions had a good secondary, they probably would have been sitting on the fringe of the playoffs. Too many games slipped away because they couldn't stop the pass.

6 - CLE: Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M
Cleveland's front seven on defense need to imrpove. I guy that is as versitle as Moore can really help that defense since he can play both DE spots and can be a rush DE

7 - ARI: Matt Barkley, QB, USC
Personally I don't like Matt Barkely, and I wouldn't draft him until the middle of the second round but Cardinals are in dire need of a QB and will reach for a one if they have to. I believe that Barkely will shine in the workouts and begin to rise on many boards, but I just don't see that "it" factor that a QB needs.

8 - BUF: Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame
Since I am a Bills and Notre Dame fan, I would love for this situation to present itself, but I also think it makes perfect sense. The bills have some nice talent on D but struggle due to a lack of playmakers. Te'o will be the heart and sole of that defense and become the next great MLB following in the footsteps of Lewis, Urlacher, and Willis

9 - NYJ: Taylor Lewan, OT, Michigan
Jets need offensive help. Their line was very shaky. Lewan will instantly be their RT starter from day 1 and provide a nice OT duo with Ferguson. Also think Barkevious Mingo is a good fit for the Jets, but they need to address their offense.

10 - TEN: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
Titans need to bolster their interior play on both sides of the ball. Warmack happens to be the best interior guy available. Plus the titans need to help protect Locker, and try to get Chris Johnson back to CJ2K form.

11 - SD: Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee
Chargers have many minor needs with the reciever position being one of them. They need a number talent and Hunter can provide that. While he does lack great ball skills, he does have big play ability. This is a big reach for Hunter but I believe the Chargers need #1 WR. They can't settle for another average reciever.

12 - MIA: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
I personally would take Werner 2nd overall as I see him developing into a DE similar to J.J. Wyatt. Big DE, that needs to bulk up a little, but has a great motor and will complement Cameron Wake very nicely.

13 - TB: Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU
Buccs already have a nice young defensive line. Adding Mingo, who can play DE or be a rush OLB, will make that D-line even better. Mingo will succeed sense he won't be getting a great deal of focus on him from the opposing offensive line.

14 - CAR: Johnathan Hankins, DT, Ohio State
While Carolina's biggest need might be WR, I don't think they want to reach and take Allen. Last year many thought they would take DT Dontari Poe, so it makes sense to take Hankins. He will make Keuchly's job slightly easier by clogging the middle

15 - NO: Dion Jordan, DE, Oregon
New Orleans usally goes by best available player method and it just so happens that Jordan is the best player available and fills a bigtime need for the Saints. Saints defense is awful. Jordan's versitility will definitely help them out.

16 - STL: Jake Matthews, OT, Texas A&M
Rams need to protect Bradford. Can look for offensive weapons in with other 1st rounder and in 2nd round

17 - PIT: Sylvester Williams, DT, North Carolina
The Steeler defense is rotting. They are an average defense due to their age on the front seven. Williams will help them with his excellent ability to stuff the run.

18 - DAL: Kenny Vaccaro, SS, Texas
The back end of the Dallas D has played pretty bad. Upgrade is needed. Vaccaro has tremendous cover skills for a safety and will make that secondary a solid young group with Carr and Claiborne

19 - NYG: Johnthan Banks, CB, Mississippi State
Gaints have a big need at CB. Amukamura is always hurt and Webster is aging. Banks is a big CB that likes to play the run and is physical. He also has great ball skills but lacks elite cover skills. Will be fun to watch him vs Dez Bryant in the future.

20 - CHI: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
Bears O-line is beyond bad. Fisher is a huge OT that can instantly improve their bad O-Line

21 - IND: Jonathan Jenkins, DT, Georgia
Colts defense has switched to a 3-4 so they need a big man in the middle of that D-Line. Jenkins, at 6-4 360, can cause some problems with Mathis and Freeney drawing most of the attention.

22 - SEA: Keenan Allen, WR, California
Allen is a smooth 6'3 reciever that can instantly become one of Russell Wilson's top targets. He lacks elite speed and play making ability but is a very sound route runner.

23 - GB: Barrett Jones, OG, Alabama
Jones is the best center in the draft but can play both OT and OG. While Jeff Saturday did make the probowl, it was more a reputation pick as recently Saturday has been benched. Not only could the packers use a center, but they could use a verstile lineman like Jones to add needed depth.

24 - HOU: Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee
Cordarrelle is a big playmaker with great speed and size. Texans have needed a number 2 reciever for a while now and with Andre Johnson getting up there in age, they might need a number 1.

25 - CIN: Sam Montgomery, DE, LSU
Montgomery is a flat out steel at this point in the draft. Bengals have minor needs so I believe they will go with the best player available which is Montgomery by far. He is a top-15 talent.

26 - STL: Robert Woods, WR, USC
This is a reach for Woods as he is more likely going to be one of the first guys off the board on day 2. Woods is a big play guy with his great speed and should instantly become Bradford's top target, however he does have lapses where he looks like an average WR.

27 - BAL: Alec Ogletree, ILB, Georgia
With Ray Lewis announcing his retirement, the need for a MLB instantly becomes much bigger. Ogletree is raw, but very athletic. He is a good fit as he will be in the middle of a very experienced defense.

28 - MIN: Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina
Vikings O-line has played well but they could use help at OG. Cooper has talent to project anywhere from 13-25 so this is great value for the vikings. Why not try to make AP even more productive?

29 - NE: Matt Elam, SS, Florida
Pats secondary has been an issue for many years now but has gradually gotten better. A SS that likes to throw his body around is something the Pats D could use.

30 - ATL: Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame
Eifert was the best college TE, so why not have him replace the best TE in NFL history? Can't stress how helpful it would be to Eifert learning from Tony, and how nice it would be for Matt Ryan to get a younger version of Tony.

31 - SF: Tavon Austin, WR, West Virginia
Even though 49ers tried very hard to improve their receiving corps last offseason, they'll need to address the position again. Manningham had a big leg injury and Moss is ancient. Austin can instantly become a play maker on offense and a reliable punt returner.

32 - DEN: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
Denver could use help on the interior defensive line. Sheldon is a steal here as he is talented enough to go as high as 18.
