billyb0b's 1.2 Mock Draft (Round 1)

1 - KC: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
I have a feeling Reid will trade for a QB for a pick in the later rounds. Joeckel is the best tackle prospect this year and will allow the chiefs to move Brandon Albert to guard his original position which was the position he was drafted.

2 - JAX: Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M
A team can not have 20 sacks in a year and expect to win football games. Moore looks similar to John Abraham when watching his tape he has that great burst of speed that edge rushers need to have.

3 - OAK: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
Oakland was gashed for 200+ yards against Doug Martin they need to improve this underachieving defense plus Tommy Kelly and Richard Seymour will be gone by the next year. Lotulelei possesses all the speed and strength we recently saw when Suh was drafted a couple year back.

4 - ARI: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
Trade PHI: Arizona and Philly have done deals before since Joeckel isn't here Philly trades down. Smith is not as polished as RG3 and Luck but has the athletic ability to create plays with his feet and has a strong arm and rarely throws a INT.

5 - DET: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
This team needs secondary help especially since it see's good WR's like Marshall, Nelson, and Harvin. Milliner reminds me of Charles Tillman he is very physical with man to man and a sure tackler.

6 - CLE: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
Cleveland needs all the help they can get and Jones would give them that added pass rusher they desperately need to compete in a division that is one of the most competitive. They can use him as an end or OLB however OLB would better fit his strengths.

7 - PHI: Taylor Lewan, OT, Michigan
With Peters having torn his ACL twice and this O lines collapse without him any QB they decide who will be the future will need a O Line that can protect him. This pick will be Jake Matthews if he commits however I believe he will stay with saying that Lewan has the frame of an LT, he plays with a swagger and cockiness could be a Jake Long type LT.

8 - BUF: Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame
Buffalo needs to plug their 31st rushing defense now and given the ability of Te'o to either play ILB or Strong Side LB should compare him to Keuchley who is now Carolina's best LB.

9 - NYJ: Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU
The NYJ pass rush has been absent for the last couple years now, when you have Aaron Maybin leading you in sacks last year there is a problem. Mingo is a long-armed, explosive athlete who plays with surprising power despite his lack of ideal weight.

10 - TEN: Johnthan Banks, CB, Mississippi State
Tennessee secondary needs help especially another corner with McCourty filling the only other spot who can cover good WR.

11 - SD: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
Phillip's is getting old and a FA which means he is gone. Werner has the range to be a 3-4 LB or an 4-3 DE with good speed and ability giving Chargers a dual threat at rush LB's

12 - MIA: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
This pick all depends if Jake Long re signs or not. Fisher is a capable LT especially since he added weight making him more balanced for both pass and rush.

13 - DAL: Johnathan Hankins, DT, Ohio State
Trade TB. They were a top 10 team in the beginning of the year against the run and then they finished in 19th Cowboys need to get bigger and better up front. Hankins should become a NT moving Rat to DE if they keep him around.

14 - CAR: Keenan Allen, WR, California
You draft Newton number 1 yet his only weapons are an aging WR and a above average TE it is time to get him some more weapons. Allen's a Top 25 pick now since of his size(6-3), speed (4.5), and the fact he had a great year in the PAC 12 against good corners.

15 - NO: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
Having the worst rushing defense in the NFL and Sedrick Ellis being a bust they need help upfront. Richardson has a high motor and good size to instantly help the rushing defense and added pass rushing pressure.

16 - STL: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
Best G prospect in the draft he is very physical and has seen Top competition at Bama

17 - PIT: Dion Jordan, DE, Oregon
Harrison is 35 and been getting hurt of late and Woodley has also been hurt after signing that huge contract. So the Steeler's need to think of the future of this dominate defense. Jordan really shined in the Fiesta bowl and with his great size and speed he could really become a force.

18 - TB: Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State
Trading Talib was enviable he was just causing too many problems and with Eric Wright as the only decent corner they really need to improve the secondary.

19 - NYG: Alec Ogletree, ILB, Georgia
The LB core is the weakest link on the Giants defense and Ogletree can play all three LB positions.

20 - CHI: Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina
Bear's new coach will realize if your going to pay Cutler all this money you need to keep him upright. Cooper s a smooth, coordinated athlete with fluid footwork and outstanding balance, blocking well on the move and constantly getting to the second level.

21 - CIN: Sam Montgomery, DE, LSU
The Bengal's are always in the market for another rotation spot in their especially if they do not retain Johnson.

22 - STL: Kenny Vaccaro, SS, Texas
Dahl can not be a starting safety if they plan to want to start getting into the race for the NFC West.

23 - MIN: Terrance Williams, WR, Baylor
Percy Harvin might be leaving since he really has no interest in being an Viking anymore. Williams showed that he could produce without RG3 throwing him the football.

24 - BAL: Kevin Minter, ILB, LSU
Ray Lewis retiring means that need to find his successor and Minter should be the pick here.

25 - IND: Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU
Freeney is gone this year and will not be retained he does not fit Pagano's 3-4 defense.

26 - NYJ: Tyler Wilson, QB, Arkansas
Trade SEA. Sanchez is benched for life, Tebow is gone to the Jags, and McElroy is too raw. They will not draft another USC QB no matter how much Rex Ryan begs.

27 - GB: Barrett Jones, OG, Alabama
Saturday didn't work out and Jones happens to be the best center prospect to come out in a while.

28 - HOU: Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee
Andre Johnson is good but getting old and Daniels is injury prone however they have no other option at WR. Hunter has everything you want from a WR size, speed, and ability plus doing against the SEC.

29 - SF: Matt Elam, SS, Florida
Both Safeties are free agents they won't keep both and Gholston is the most likely to be retained.

30 - KC: Matt Barkley, QB, USC
Trade NE. KC knows that Cassell/Quinn are not the answer at QB and will trade up just incase Bills try to grab Barkley.

31 - ATL: Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame
Gonzalez is retiring and they need to have a good TE since Tony was Matt's safety net.

32 - BUF: Ryan Nassib, QB, Syracuse
Trade DEN: Marrone will get this pick to help push Fitz out of this rut or push him out of Buffalo all together.
