I do not have a QB being drafted in this mock. I did not project any trades, and I think that is how 1 or possibly 2 QBs will go in the 1st round of this draft. Teams will trade back in to the back end of the 1st round for Geno Smith or Matt Barkley. This will be one of the more interesting drafts with no consensus top 5 QB, no consensus top 10 players. Some mocks have players going as high as 2, and as low as 20 on other drafts. This will be a hard draft to predict.

14 - CAR: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
DT Richardson should help the Panthers shore up their porous run Defense. He has been slotted in this pick for some time now.
16 - STL: Tavon Austin, WR, West Virginia
Think Percy harvin but without the headaches.
17 - PIT: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
Medical alerts dropped him to the Steelers, but they will be happy with him. He was productive with the Bulldogs and should continue with the Steelers.
19 - NYG: Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame
This pick is purely best available player. They really want a DE, but there are none worthy of the 19th pick. I can also see the Giants trade down. Eifert can also help in the case that V Cruz leaves via free agency next year. Remeber both Nicks and Cruz are in the last years of their deals.
20 - CHI: Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame
I can also see the Bears trading back to pick up extra picks. They only have 5 picks in this draft. Maybe if the 49ers really want someone they can trade one or some of their 12 plus picks to move up. LBs can be picked up later in 1st as well. Not re-signing Nick Roach or Brian Urlacher made the LB position a priority in this draft. Bears will target a LB in rounds 1 or 2.
24 - IND: Datone Jones, DE, UCLA
Colts need Olineman but there are none available at this point so they take a DT. He can plug two gaps, 2 blockers and is quick enough to shoot the gaps. Versatile.
26 - GB: Matt Elam, SS, Florida
This pick is best available player. The Packers Offense is very good, but their defense let them down this past year. Players need to get/stay healthy and draft additions can help the Packers get back to the playoffs. I think RB is a need as well, but this is too early for Ted Thompson to draft a RB in an offense that is geared for passing, not running. Why take a RB in the first round that will not be a focal point of the offense. RB will come later on for GB.
27 - HOU: Keenan Allen, WR, California
The name of the game is offense nowadays. Andre Johnson is not getting any younger. They need some young WR to help the passing game.
29 - NE: Jamar Taylor, CB, Boise State
Their offense is very good, but their defense needs to play their part to help get to the playoffs and win.

Above Average -- Well done. I don't think Mingo falls down that far.

Above Average -- Very nice! Love Lacy to the broncos pick. Hard to imagine no QB's taken though.

Poor -- Terrence williams and Jesse williams fell out of the first with bad combines if you paid attention. Jarvis Jones was also removed from many teams draft boards altogether.

Average -- No way Ezekial Ansah is available at 18. If he falls, the Steelers will grab him at 17. I'm sure he won't make it New York or New Orleans.

Above Average -- Good lookin' draft. I like Vaccaro to the Packers I think Eric Reid is a better fit.Thompson believes Safety can be addressed rnd 2.Collins was a 2nd. Is Vaccaro a big enough hitter? Collins was Reid is.Cover skills & big hitter is what they want

Above Average -- After doin' some reading up Vaccaro would be great for the Packers, but based on Ted Thompson's philosophy I'm not sure he goes safety 1st round. I think it'll depend on who's there @ 26 @ DE or DT, but I like Vaccaro.

Above Average -- I like Fluker is underated and should go high, I think MIA would pick Trufant before Banks at CB
Tuesday, April 2, 2013 8:40 PM
Average -- TB won't reach for 2nd round CB talent at 13. If the top 12 pans out like you have it (which looks like a worst-case scenario for TB) I would expect the Bucs to take Richardson to pair up with McCoy.

Below Average -- I highly doubt Dallas will take Fluker if Vaccaro is still available. The can get almost the same talent in round 2 at OT. I think that Ansah is too high and D. Jordan too low. I'm betting you won't see a RB go in Round 1.
