PewterPirates22's Mock Draft With Trades (Round 1)

1 - KC: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
Andy Reid is known for his ability to develop a qb, so I don't think he feels any pressure to take one immediately. Joeckel is perhaps the safest pick in the draft.

2 - JAX: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
This pick has Jacksonville written all over it. They need star power to attract fans. Smith is raw and unpolished for the pro game, but his big play ability will build excitement with the fan base.

3 - ARI: Tyler Wilson, QB, Arkansas
*TRADE WITH OAKLAND* Arizona can't go through another season with their current qb situation. Wilson would bring leadership and toughness to the position.

4 - BUF: Mike Glennon, QB, North Carolina State
*TRADE WITH PHILADELPHIA* Buddy Nix has vowed to deliver a franchise qb, and ge makes an aggresive move to get his guy. Glennon has a strong arm which will come in handy in Buffalo.

5 - DET: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
Cliff Avril is a free agent and Kyle Vanden Bosch is old. Werner is an elite pass rusher wirh a high motor.

6 - CLE: Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M
Cleveland needs to add some bite to their pass rush. Moore has serious ability as a pass rusher.

7 - OAK: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
Because of the run on qb's Oakland was able to trade down and still get their guy. Seymour is a free agent and Kelly could be a salary cap casualty. Lotulelei is able to cause havoc and free up the ends.

8 - PHI: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
After missing out on Joeckel they take the best interrior lineman. Lesean McCoy will be the new focal point of the offense and Warmack would blow open running lanes for him.

9 - NYJ: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
The Jets are desperate for a qb, unfortunately so were the two teams above them, and they weren't able to jockey themselves into position for a top one, so they fill their other big need, pass rusher. Jones is drawing comparisions to Von Miller.

10 - TEN: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
They never replaced Cortland Finnegan, now they get the top cb in the draft.

11 - SD: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
The ot class took a big hit with Lewan and Matthews both going back to school, so it has become even more important for the Chargers to grab one in the first round. Fisher is a great pass blocker that Rivers will love.

12 - MIA: Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee
The Dolphins need a receiver badly. Hunter is the most complete receiver in the draft. Hands, size, route running, he has it all.

13 - TB: Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame
The obvious need is cb. The Bucs have made it known they plan on getting a te early, and they are high on Eifert. There are some quality corners they can get in the second round, but there won't be a te of this caliber in the same spot. Eifert reminds me of Jimmy Graham but a better blocker.

14 - CAR: Jonathan Jenkins, DT, Georgia
The Panthers need to shore up their run defense. Not only would Jenkins do that, but he would keep blockers off of Kuechley.

15 - NO: Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU
Ansah is a physical freak comparable to JPPand will shoot up draft boards after the combine. Will be a great fit for Spagnoulo's defense.

16 - CIN: Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame
*TRADE WITH RAMS* The Bengals jump over their division rivals to nab Te'o. Would bring leadership and playmaking ability to the linebacking core.

17 - PIT: Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU
The Steelers need to start replenishing their pass rushers, and Mingo fits the bill.

18 - DAL: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
Richardson is an active, penetrating dt and could potentially be a great 3 technique tackle in the Tampa 2.

19 - NYG: Dion Jordan, DE, Oregon
Umenyiora is leaving and Tuck doesn't look like the same player. Jordan will need to add some weight to be ab every down player,but can have an impact right away as a situational pass rusher.

20 - CHI: Barrett Jones, OG, Alabama
The Bears need to overhaul their offensive line and Jones provides the best value at this point. He was an All American at Alabama and can play all three interrior positions.

21 - STL: Keenan Allen, WR, California
Bradford finally gets a legitamite receiver.

22 - STL: D.J. Fluker, OT, Alabama
Fluker was an All American rt, a position of great need for the Rams.

23 - MIN: Terrance Williams, WR, Baylor
It is unclear if Percy Harvin will be back next year, but even if he is, Ponder needs another target on the outside. Williams has a good combination of size and speed.

24 - IND: Corey Lemonier, DE, Auburn
A good player on a bad team, Lemonier can add a boost to the pass rush that the aging Freeney and Mathis can't provide at this point in their career.

25 - SEA: Johnathan Hankins, DT, Ohio State
The Seahawks have a few needs, but Hankins is the best talent available that fills a need.

26 - GB: Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina
Aaron Rodgers needs better protection. Cooper is a great pass protector.

27 - HOU: Alec Ogletree, ILB, Georgia
The defense wasn't the same when Cushing tore his ACL. Ogletree would form a formidable duo in the middle with Cushing.

28 - DEN: Johnthan Banks, CB, Mississippi State
Torrey Smith proved that Champ Bailey is no longer the shutdown corner he use to be. Banks is too good to pass up at this point.

29 - BAL: Kenny Vaccaro, SS, Texas
I doubt Ed Reed will be back. Vaccaro has all of the same abilities that made Rwed an all time great.

30 - ATL: Zach Ertz, TE, Stanford
Need a replacement for the retiring Tony Gonzalez.

31 - NE: Tavon Austin, WR, West Virginia
Welker will most likely walk, leaving a need for a slot receiver. Austin is being called a mix of Percy Harvin and Desean Jackson.

32 - SF: Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida
The play of the front seven was troubling when Justin Smith went down so obviously depth is needed. Floyd eould make a great five technique.
