Average Rank: 2.3 out of 5 (4 votes) -- Rank This Mock Draft

1 - KC: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
Listen, I know Matt Cassel is the most serviceable QB on the Chiefs roster. But to be honest I don't feel that there is a first round let alone #1 overall QB in this draft. And I hope KC knows they can pick up a QB in round 2
2 - ARI: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
This is a trade that the Cardinals can't pass up here. Currently on their roster they have a 15 year vet and a 1st and 2nd year DE. This is a chance for them to grab a player that will make an immediate impact and a great complement to Docket and Holliday.
3 - OAK: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
WOW, talk about having a TON of holes to fill. The defensive line isn't that great, I know. But the O-line needs more help, the Raiders even though have a horrible draft history of just plain missing on high draft picks, hence why they are always in the top 10. I think they make the right decision this year. This draft is very deep in DLine this year.
4 - PHI: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
Easiest pick of the first round, plain and simple.
5 - DET: Dion Jordan, DE, Oregon
Call me crazy here, but this kid is a FREAK of nature and would look amazing coming off the edge and Suh stuffing the middle. Forget about the torn labrum, this kid will be a superstar
6 - TEN: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
The Titans need to get back to being feared on defense and Lotulelei is a step in the right direction.
7 - JAX: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
Jax makes this trade because again, there is no 1st rd QB talent in this draft and they have so many holes to fill they are in a position to take the best player available or best OLmen available.
8 - BUF: Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU
LOL, you will see why after Senior practice and the game.
9 - NYJ: Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee
With Geno Smith still on the board it is tempting but I think Rex is married to Sanchez for another year and there will be other QB's later on in the draft. Rex can't afford to miss here. Surprised? Don't be he is the only WR in the draft that has the size, speed and down field ability to be considered in the top 10
10 - CLE: Alec Ogletree, ILB, Georgia
Cleveland makes this trade because to be honest they really don't have any real glaring needs. They too are in a position to take the best player available.
11 - SD: Kenny Vaccaro, SS, Texas
This is an easy pick for SD, they must get that defense back to elite status
12 - MIA: Keenan Allen, WR, California
I mean come on man! Their best WR is their QB!
13 - TB: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
Big need for Tampa just got filled.
14 - CAR: Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina
A must address for Caroline in the first round. They need to get that running game going again and take some pressure of Cam or the feeling that he needs to do everything himself.
15 - NO: Barrett Jones, OG, Alabama
Needs based pick, they must add depth to this position.
16 - STL: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
They need lots of help here, giving up almost 120 yds a game...need to take a shot on a run stuffer
17 - PIT: Eddie Lacy, RB, Alabama
If he is still here at 17....this should not shock nor surprise anyone at home or in the NFL. It is no surprise the Steelers want to get back to running the football and Lacy is just the guy to provide that. He is extremely versatile. He can run you over, around and has great vision power, size and hands. If the Steelers can start to be in the top 5 in rushing again, watch out AFC.
18 - DAL: Jesse Williams, DT, Alabama
They are making the move from a 3-4 to a 4-3, he fills a need right now.
19 - NYG: Alex Okafor, DE, Texas
With some possible departures on the dline, this pick only makes sense.
20 - CHI: Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame
The dead girlfriend thing hurts Manti but he doesn't fall out of the first and the Bears love it. They need to start grooming some one to replace what has been the anchor of their D for a very long time in Brian Urlacher
21 - CIN: Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State
I know that this is a surprise pick here, but he has good size, speed and hands and is a boundary corner and can cover the opposing teams bigger corners.
22 - STL: D.J. Fluker, OT, Alabama
With 2 picks in the first they have addressed two very big needs.
23 - MIN: Tavon Austin, WR, West Virginia
Great versatile player, he can line up in the slot, wide or the backfield
24 - IND: Johnathan Hankins, DT, Ohio State
I love this pick here for Indy, great value
25 - SEA: Dallas Thomas, OT, Tennessee
Good sade pick here, fills a need and a above average run and pass protector.
26 - GB: Giovani Bernard, RB, North Carolina
I know, I know but hey it's the end of the first round and there is always a pick that makes you go WHAT!!!!
27 - HOU: Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma
This is a hard one, I can also see the Texans trading down here.
28 - DEN: Kevin Minter, ILB, LSU
Strictly a needs based pick here
29 - ATL: Sam Montgomery, DE, LSU
We all saw that ATL really needed some pass rushers, they fill that here
30 - NE: DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Clemson
Not really a first round guy here, so I can see the Pats and good old Bill doing their norm and trading down and collecting more later pick as they normally do. But WR is an area of need for them with the possible departure of Welker and Edelman.
31 - SF: Logan Ryan, CB, Rutgers
This is a not huge need for San Fran but this guy is talented and if they don't take him now, he will be gone after a few picks early in the second.
32 - BAL: Eric Reid, FS, LSU
Easy pick for Bmore here after Reed decides to retire after winning the Super Bowl
