Average Rank: 3.7 out of 5 (3 votes) -- Rank This Mock Draft

1 - KC: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
I understand the thoughts on LT Luke Joeckel here and I'll be the first to admit that this is way above Smith's value but ultimately the need for a QB and Smith's apparent fit in Reid's system will win out.
2 - JAX: Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M
I don't think there's any chance Jax picks a QB here even if Smith is still in play, pass rusher is their biggest need and Jarvis Jones' back issues might scare them.
3 - OAK: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
They could go in a number number of directions as they need help all over the defense but Lotulelei is probably the best defensive player in play and they have nothing at DT.
4 - PHI: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
This tricky because if Jason Peters comes back and is productive that shores up LT, but Joeckel is the BPA and the Eagles need another tackle regardless. CB would be a reach and they had some young pass rushers step up so I don't see them going that way.
5 - DET: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
CB is a need but it's been proven this is too high for a corner and I don't think Milliner is any better than other recent Top 15 CB prospect. Werner fills a need and might be the best guy on the board. Logical, safe pick.
6 - CLE: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
While I feel the recent play of Von Miller and Aldon Smith has over-rated guys like Jarvis Jones, he's simply too good to pass up here and the Browns need help with their pass rush. If Moore is somehow in still, they'll go with him and Mingo is an option but Jones will probably be ranked higher coming into the draft.
7 - ARI: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
Yes, they could pick a QB. But with some of the recent success teams have been finding with QB's taken outside of Round 1 I expect them to address what is an even bigger need, offensive tackle. Fisher isn't considered a Top 10 prospect as of today but his physical tools will rocket him up draft board and make him the 2nd Tackle taken.
8 - BUF: Tyler Wilson, QB, Arkansas
This will be a QB. Barkley, Nassib, and Glennon are in play but Wilson should be the QB this year who sees his stock increase once teams look at him closer. Personally, I like Barkley more.
9 - NYJ: Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU
I simply can't see a QB going here, no way. Mingo makes too much sense as the Jets really need a Rush LB and he might be the BPA.
10 - TEN: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
The Titans really need secondary help and I have no doubt if Milliner falls here he'll be their guy. Solid value as I'd say this is right around where he ranks as an overall prospect.
11 - SD: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
SD won't be happy if Fisher goes before them as the drop-off from him the next best OT prospect is pretty big. But Fisher WILL go in the top 10. Luckily, they Chargers also need guards and Warmack is as good of a guard prospect as I've ever seen. His dominance of ND in the Title game didn't hurt either.
12 - MIA: Dion Jordan, DE, Oregon
WR is clearly the biggest need for Miami and while this is a deep receiver class I don't see any AJ Green/Julio Jones/Dez Bryant type prospects worth taking this high. Instead I'd expect Miami to use their 1st pick to give Cameron Wake some help rushing the passer. So Ansah and Montgomery are also in play but I think Jordan has the most upside.
13 - TB: Johnthan Banks, CB, Mississippi State
No secret that the Bucs need CB help bad. Banks isn't great in man coverage but he's by far the best CB available and really the only pick that makes sense. If Milliner is still in he's the obvious choice.
14 - CAR: Johnathan Hankins, DT, Ohio State
Carolina is a player or two away from being a serious playoff contender. Hankins is a space-eating DT who would improve their run D greatly from Week 1.
15 - NO: Kenny Vaccaro, SS, Texas
A DT is certainly an option, but the Sains get beat over the top a ton. Vaccaro is a dynamic prospect who can play great in coverage and also blow up running plays. I like him more than Mark Barron who went #7 last year.
16 - STL: Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma
DB and WR are bot needs just as glaring as OT but I feel Johnson's pure athleticism and ability to play at either tackle spot will have him shooting up draft boards. STL can get Bradford some weapons later and with Vaccaro gone no S makes sense this high.
17 - PIT: Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU
Pitt could go a variety of ways here but they need to get more pressure from their line and Ansah is one of those talented, developmental prospects Pitt loves taking. Doesn't have to play a ton right away.
18 - DAL: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
With Dallas switching to a 4-3 this pick makes a ton of sense due to Richardson's to get into the backfield from the interior. He reminds me a lot of Bengals star DT Geno Atkins.
19 - NYG: Alec Ogletree, ILB, Georgia
What jumps out about Ogletree is his speed and athleticism. The Giants need some of that in their LB group and while Te'o is a thought Ogletree appears to play much faster and and they'll need that going against come of the quick offenses in the NFC East.
20 - CHI: Oday Aboushi, OT, Virginia
Aboushi has long been considered a 2nd round prospect but his physical dominance in the run game should make him one of the better starting RT's right away. The Bears could surely use that.
21 - CIN: Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame
With Ogletree off the board the Bengals might have to "settle" for Te'o. He fills their only major need and would allow them to keep gem Vontaze Burfict where he is. GF Hoax has no impact here, this is the range that Te'o has played himself into.
22 - STL: Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee
After filling a need at OT with their first pick the Rams will be free to pick the best WR here. #22 may seem a bit low for the first WR to be taken but the depth of the class makes me think teams with multiple needs will hold off on picking a WR in the top 20.
23 - MIN: Keenan Allen, WR, California
Nearly everyone has MInn picking a WR here regardless of what happens with Percy Harvin. Allen is a good value here and if he's in play I can't see them passing on him.
24 - IND: Jonathan Jenkins, DT, Georgia
Indy would have to be licking their chops if Jenkins is still around here as he is the best run stuffing tackle in the draft possibly and would start at NT from day one. The Colts D needs every pound they can get and Jenkins has plenty of them.
25 - SEA: Sam Montgomery, DE, LSU
Montgomery presents good value here and the Seahawks need an end who can both rush the QB and stuff the run.
26 - GB: Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina
Cooper is a versatile interior lineman who also happens to be my highest ranked player on the board. The Pack have well-documented O-Line issues and Cooper could be a building block.
27 - HOU: Arthur Brown, ILB, Kansas State
The positional value with Brown is obvious and I feel he's been very underrated all year. I certainly like him more than Minter out of LSU.
28 - DEN: Jesse Williams, DT, Alabama
Williams is good against both the run and pass and Denver's need at interior line is glaring so with many quality guys still in I see them taking who they like best. I think Williams is the safest pick and will be ready to play right away.
29 - NE: Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State
NE strikes gold here as the BPA is a versatile DB whom the Pats really need for depth. A WR is a possibility but I don't see it happening.
30 - ATL: Alex Okafor, DE, Texas
Many are saying Okafor won't fall out of round 1 and ATL needs a ton of help with their front 7. He's a raw but talented guy who wouldn't be forced to play right away.
31 - BAL: Kevin Minter, ILB, LSU
Minter is the highest ranked player on my board and his selection here is an obvious attempt at replacing Ray Lewis
32 - SF: Barrett Jones, OG, Alabama
Jones is the BPA and O-Line depth is always important. His ability to play anywhere on the interior is good for his stock.

Average -- The right pick for the Bengals. They are in need of quality LB.

Excellent -- No clue who Aboushi is lol I haven't seen him in a 3rd round mock lol. I do agree with Werner but not for the reasons mentioned. Milliner is definitely a great safe pick. He is the best corner to come out for a long time, prolly since Revis. DE is Urgent

Average -- okafor is not raw. he was a five star recruit coming out of hs. he had 4.5 sacks in the alamo bowl. he needs to start right away. that being said I hope the Cowboys take hime.
