12/5 tonyem11's Mock Draft
1 - KC: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
After further assesment and reviewing his junior and beginning of senior year tape, the Chiefs take Geno Smith.
2 - JAX: Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M
The Jaguars need more production from the DE position. And although Moore will be highly sought after to play OLB in a 3-4 scheme the jaguars grab him.
3 - OAK: Dion Jordan, DE, Oregon
Dion Jordan is a physical freak with tremendous length, ultimately the Raiders will select him and bulk him up a bit. Since McKenzie comes from the Green Bay organization his draft selections will make more sense, Lamarr Houston should not have been playing DE last year.
4 - PHI: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
Philly gets what they wished for and Brian Kelly gets the best OL in the draft to help protect the QB this year. Last year the Eagles were as bad as I've ever seen in terms of NFL pass protection.
5 - DET: Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame
Call me crazy but Detroit needs to make this selection. Te'o is a born leader and the Lions desperately need a leader on the defense to bring the talent together.
6 - CLE: Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU
Ansah is regarded as the player with the highest upside but comes with a risk, the Browns ultimately believe they can take on this project. Also, Parker is old and Rucker isn't quite the defensive end the Browns would like.
7 - ARI: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
Nate Potter fits more as a RT more than a LT. Fisher is an athletic tackle that can protect the blindside for whomever ends up dropping back at QB for ARI.
8 - BUF: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
The Bills select the best player available and bolsters its secondary.
9 - NYJ: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
Coming back from his injury at USC Jones took the SEC and the rest of college football by storm. The Jets are thin on talent, as well as up there in age in terms of their OLB's.
10 - TEN: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
The Titans didn't get the production that they would have liked from Wimbley.
11 - SD: Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee
Last year was just a terrible season for Rivers and his receiving corps had a lot to do with it.
12 - MIA: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
The Dolphins look for an upgrade over Incognito and have the makings of an O-Line that should be good for years to come.
13 - TB: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
The Bucs have an offense but their defense is riddled with no-names that can't perform. Imagine a Defensive line with both McCoy and Lotulelei.
14 - CAR: Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU
Carolina needs help rushing the QB and Mingo is an explosive pass rusher.
15 - NO: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
The Saints will have a tough time choosing between Richardson, Floyd, Hankins, and Jenkins.
16 - STL: Keenan Allen, WR, California
Finally Bradford is rewarded with a stud at WR.
17 - PIT: Kenny Vaccaro, SS, Texas
Pittsburgh always picks the best player available but also age has caught up with them at the safety position.
18 - DAL: Jonathan Jenkins, DT, Georgia
The Cowboys select their future NT and will be able to move Ratliff to the DE position where he will be better suited.
19 - NYG: Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina
The Giants have a loaded DL but their OL needs some work.
20 - CHI: Eric Reid, FS, LSU
The Bears have a terrible group of Safeties and while they need help along the OL they still decide to load up on defense.
21 - CIN: Johnthan Banks, CB, Mississippi State
Banks is a tough SEC corner that has been battle tested.
22 - STL: Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma
The Rams add an athletic T that can help protect Bradford.
23 - MIN: Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida
Floyd will be put into a good situation where he can learn from very good veterans.
24 - IND: Johnathan Hankins, DT, Ohio State
The Colts need a NT and get themselves a big one.
25 - SEA: Kevin Minter, ILB, LSU
Hill is getting old and Minter is a solid player who can contribute right away.
26 - GB: Alec Ogletree, ILB, Georgia
His off-field troubles have impacted is stock, but the Packers know his talent and will take a chance.
27 - HOU: Kawann Short, DT, Purdue
The Texans need a bigger and better NT.
28 - DEN: Giovani Bernard, RB, North Carolina
Denver needs a RB, Moreno can't stay healthy and McGahee is at the end of his career.
29 - NE: Tavon Austin, WR, West Virginia
The Jets select the quickest WR in the draft.
30 - ATL: Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame
With Gonzalez hanging the cleats up the Falcons are blessed with Eifert.
31 - SF: Sylvester Williams, DT, North Carolina
Sylvester is a player that the niners can move from DE or NT.
32 - BAL: Arthur Brown, ILB, Kansas State
The Ravens pick a talented LB that can instantly play in their 3-4 scheme.
