2/23 TvTshow's Mock Draft

Author's Comments

I didn't Mean to post the first mock draft that i posted. i just pressed enter and it went through, so i understand the bad reviews. but this is in actuality my real 1st mock draft.I don't even count the first one. let me Explain the difference between my mock and other mocks, in my core belief system, you don't take OT's #1 so just virtue of that, yeah, an OT isn't going at 1, even if in reality he might. i'll edit this one, and post other rounds later.Enjoy. take in, debate. i love it all. come at me bro :)

1 - KC: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
Everyone thinks a tackle will go here. but i don't believe in taking them #1 that being said:The First pick should be Darelle Revis. i think anytime you have a chance to get a top 5 player in this league. You should take it. He has more value than any player in this draft. that's for sure. But He's not Avaliable on this list to take. he pick should be Dee milliner. typical KC/Andy Reid pick. Clean Cut Kid. Clean player. Best Corner in the draft. lucky for KC he's the best player in draft.
2 - JAX: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
JAX can go Anywhere with this pick. Including Trading back, which i recommend for all teams in the top 10. the value isn't there and most of them need a QB. you could move Eugene Monroe over the right side and draft one of the OT's. But you need Defensive help as well. the only thing worse than that offense was..Yeah. Listen take Anybody. That might help but Milliner is gone. i know. You were in love. it's okay.Take the best pass rusher on the board.so many. i know. Its hard but probably this Guy
3 - OAK: Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida
is it more relief in war rooms during the draft to be: A normal team,With a few needs and weaknesses, and a plan to fix them. Or OAK, to have so many needs, you could take anything and it would help.Consider the Geno Smith Gamble, but they lost so many Dlinemen to FA, they can't improve positions that aren't needs.Years ago, Jones, Jordan, and Mingo would have been the apple of AL's Eye. still might be,but AL is gone. can a Leopard really change it's spots? i have my doubts. for now. it's floyd.
4 - PHI: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
Don't Believe in Tackles at #1. YES. Jake Long went #1. YES. Besides AP and Magatron; Joe Thomas, Best Player in his Class. i get it. but look back, Long shouldn't have gone 1st, that was clearly Matt Ryan. and Would you Really Take Joe Thomas over AP and Magatron? NO. if you Take the Tackle, everyone will always say. you missed on that other guy. and they'll be right. at 4, right spot of one. which? idk. i wanna believe dion jordan goes here. But my god you have to protect vick it's that simple
5 - DET: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
Is there 1 team that needs Darelle Revis More than The Detroit Lions? They better do something. They have to find a way to tell Aaron Rodgers. THIS WILL STOP RIGHT NOW. whatever it is that he keeps doing to them. it's inappropriate, and must end if the lions ever want to consistantly win. i think when it's all said it done. if Revis Island must be traded. This is where. if They Stay, Milliner is gone. The Typical Shawartz Pick,He never passes on the best player on the board. Physical, mean, nasty.
6 - CLE: Dion Jordan, DE, Oregon
I'll Catch people with this one early. Most think if Jarvis Jones fell down to 6, that Browns Automatically take him. the browns want height speed weight guys, take jarvis. Lee Corso. not so fast my friends, The browns now run a 3-4. it's the difference between the pick being Jones, or Jordan, the fact that Dion Fits the Scheme better. The Browns want height weight and speed players, They still get their man in the hottest player in the draft right now. Dion Jordan. i feel like Dickey V, Baby ;)
7 - ARI: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
wildcard pick. LOL I'm hearing they like Barkley. A LOT. they will do their homework judiciously on the QB postion in this draft, including Geno Smith. but at the end of the day, this is the best player on the board. You can flip flop this pick with #4 because i don't doubt the possiblity that Fisher is the first tackle off the board. He's closed the gap on Joeckel. There's a lot of time to talk about trading back into the first round to get a QB but for now. at least, Find a way to protect him.
8 - BUF: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
Injury Concerns, another reason the browns passed at 6. but it's too much value to pass at 8. i don't think that with the players they have that they can transition out of a 4-3, the only thing to do is get better in it. Corrdarelle Pattersonname comes up,but i don't think he has enough tape to go top 10, I like Johnny cooper here. but the bills will want a need. trade back if you really need a QB so bad, i'm sure that somebody might want to move up to have possibly the best player in the draft
9 - NYJ: Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU
I’d want to take Lotulelei here, He's too much value to pass here even with his health concerns. They haven't had a DT with this kind of skill set since Kris Jenkins, who couldn't stay on the field. NYJ need DL everywhere. he can play anywhere on the D-line. you're possibly passing on the next haloti ngata. tough call But if they do pass, and it's likely they will. it's because they're fine taking just taking this Athletic Super Freak. but beware, don't need another Gholston here or worse. MAYBIN
10 - TEN: Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina
In My Heart, I believe Lotulelei goes here, because i believe that the titans, will believe in him, and believe that when he fixes his heart issues. that he will help their team. it's a pick of belief. but if they don't. Coopers fine. He Outperformed Warmack at the Combine. The titans would consider themselves lucky. he might be gone by now. if you can't get the value to stop the run, the least you could do is make sure that CJ2k's Money that you paid him last year isn't wasted in the backfield.
11 - SD: Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma
And The Chargers don't have to move anywhere. Debateable if he gets this far in the real draft. the bills might take him at 8. SD might need to trade up to get him. He is an Athletic Freak. He outperformed both fisher and joeckel at the combine. I might think about lotulelei if he gets here. but no brainer. your franchise looks a wreck because your franchise QB has been getting wrecked. No tackle in this draft understands more how important time is.. He was a OB himself, before moving to tackle.
12 - MIA: Kenny Vaccaro, SS, Texas
This pick is made with the Assumption that MIA found a WR in FA. who? DK,DC, but if that's not the case, This pick better be Patterson. For the 1 team that the world seems to forget, had a rookie QB as well, MIA can't forget. They have to keep building around Tennehill. look at his rookie numbers, then imagine and multiply those numbers by what they'd be if he had an Actual NFL WR to throw to. the only need bigger than WR is a consistent DB presence. No DB better or more consistent than Vaccaro.
13 - TB: Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M
Clean. I preface this pick by saying, what is wanted by an NFL team in the top 15. Above game tape, and Production, as well as everything that comes with having the chance to get paid to play a game, is that youre porfessional, that you won't put the franchises reputation at risk. When Creating the building blocks for a NFL team, you want safe picks. to have the right guys in the locker room. Cleaner is Safer. TB needs Defense. Ogletree should be taken here but he won't because Moore is cleaner.
14 - CAR: Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee
I Hope CAR has a headache from banging it's head against a wall every year, and realize now, you need to build around your Franchise QB, it's just what you have to do when you get you one. it's sort of your job, that's all. no D. i know. it's bad. But Cam deserves better than to have to be frustrated that the team cannot win. That look on his face is the same look Every CAR QB got when they saw steve smith isn't always open, and the older he gets, the less open he'll be. let him mentor this kid.
15 - NO: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
NOLA fans. i want to make this clear. THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN. There is No Way Start Lotulelei makes it Pass the top 5, let alone top 10, let alone 15.but if he does i don't want to say i was surprised. But this is as far as he goes. You just ironically lost your Nose Tackle to FA. you now have potentially the best player in the draft. Marry Mock Christmas. if he isn't there, which he won't be. Sheldon richardson and Ziggy Ansah are possiblities, Offensively, Tavon Austin not a horrible pick here
16 - STL: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
Sorry STL i know you wanted Patterson, no wait NEEDED Patterson. but there's just no way he's making it to you. do you want to trade? you better you'll probably need to either way.I Bet CAR has no problem taking Tavon Austin at 16 should you trade up. i had said in my first mock that shouldn't have posted, STL would trade 22 to a team that wanted Geno. I correct myself. Too much Value at 16 for QB's here who? you're guess is better than mines STL gave away a Top QB last year. Let's do it again!!
17 - PIT: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
Perfect pick. and probably the one pick in this mock that is 100% likely to happen. for PIT unless you're feeling ballsy and you want to move up for Lotulelei. and get your own Ngata, which you might already have in alamada t'aamu, another story for another time. The defense is old right now. not sort of. not getting. they're old, and the young guys you have drafted on the DL, have yet to produce anything really. The guy heals a need you'll kill to fill. PIT never looks bad with good Run Defense
18 - DAL: Alec Ogletree, ILB, Georgia
And OMG are they happy that someone moved up to 16 to take DAL messy decision off their hands, i mean Geno Smith, sorry word salad. i get it a lot. Here we are again, with DAL, picking in the teens, with a chance to blockade NYG from getting better, though they always seem to get better magically. Again, they have a top 10-15 talent, who's too stupid to be taken that high, and again, He will help them win as much as they ever win. Nothing. DAL will proceed to go as far as they ever go..Nowhere.
19 - NYG: Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU
Best case for NYG. why?? it doesn't hurt to think too much about this pick, and if they do think more than they should, they should think about Terron Armstead, OT, Eli only looks bad, when he's getting hit. Stop making Eli look bad, by not getting Eli hit. great solution IKR, we have to develop freak athletes like him, but NYG is use to that.thinking it over is good. but the no brainer is to stick to the board and take the best player, Ziggy Ansah. you just lost Osi, Pair the next JPP with JPP.
20 - CHI: Terron Armstead, OT, Arkansas-Pine Bluff
CHI needs to take Armstead here, that is unless they trade up for Johnson. This is a need, Yes he's raw, But The only QB that has it worse off than Vick, or Eli, is Jay Cutler, look at his face over the last 3 years, He has Changed. The hits Just.Wow. and you wonder why he's yelling at his Olineman on national TV?? come on now, you either fix that line, or at least put another WR on the field besides Marshall, because the other WRs on the roster might as well not be.They sure don't catch passes.
21 - CIN: Arthur Brown, ILB, Kansas State
May be trade spot for QB. CIN might need one themselves. I won't dog Manti T'eo like most people but it's a shame the media is so fixated on him and he isn't even the second best ILB in the draft. Brown is a better overall ILB. He's more versitile, fast. he'll play outside too. he'll develop Te'o's intelligence level, and most of all, mental toughness. T'eo let all the pressure get to him. Brown won't do that. So when CIN is on the clock and MLB is the biggest need, they will take Brown. Not T'eo.
22 - STL: Keenan Allen, WR, California
STL moves back and they still get their playmaker. they may also have another pick by now, I would hope that Jeff fisher had enough Guts to take Tavon Austin, which shouldn't take guts, he's an amazing player, but it's not in Fisher to take risks in the draft. he likes WR with some Edge but you better be a clean route runner. plus it's a west coast offense, which fits Allen better. if Austin proves he can run routes, this is a different pick. he's a better player to me. for now though it's allen
23 - MIN: Tavon Austin, WR, West Virginia
The debate between Austin and Allen is a toss up. this pick could easily be Allen, 22 with STL could easily be austin, they offer different things, Allen, is a tough little possession WR, and Austin is a gamebreaker. MIN might want Allen more, he's more likely to play outside, while Austin is most likely a slot WR. he plays a lot like harvin, you might use them the same way. it's a fit, if you lose harvin to FA. But Make no mistake, MIN needs someone to take the top off a defense. a WR goes here
24 - IND: Margus Hunt, DE, Southern Methodist
he old IND would keep building around Payton in the 1st round. drafting WR after WR after RB after TE. Polian isn't there anymore though, do you change strategy? or do the same for Luck? don't think you run the organization the same way. Get a brand new identity here. You need help defensively, and what helps you more than a 6'8, 277 pound Monster, in Margus Hunt A little different than freeney and mathis but this could be the next JJ Watt. You need secondary help too but you can't pass this up.
25 - SEA: Matt Barkley, QB, USC
it'd be ironic wouldn't it. Carroll basically handing his former QB to the team of barkley's choosing , at least the team that wants him bad enough. The trade makes sense for everyone. The only 2 needs SEA has right now is WR and DL,and they might have fixed both in FA. WR would be good but i don't like Patton here, and on the DL Short,Jenkins,Williams and Carridine all fit the bill, but imagine they sign Abraham, or Freeney by now. that changes. Get the value for barkley. move back and move on.
26 - GB: Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State
A Value pick at this point in the draft. it's not really about taking a need so much as it is tabout taking the best player on the board and hoping that he finds his way in your organization system, and this guy is more than that, he's really good, great combine, IND at 24 might have him by now. and HOU, DEN, and NE are preying that you don't take him. but screw those guys, you know, you're not taking Manti Te'o, it.makes more sense that you just lost woodson and you want to replace that depth.
27 - HOU: Matt Elam, SS, Florida
HOU won 11 games almost walked into the playoffs with the top seed in AFC. they are this close. i think for them this is the year, to find that missing piece and move up to get him. Who is that missing piece, I have no idea. but what i do know is that if they stay here and wait. they'll still have secondary problems. but the first step to recovery in the offseason is admitting you have a problem, and what they need the most is attitude. Elam provides it. plus NE wants him. so he's trade bait too
28 - DEN: David Amerson, CB, North Carolina State
This is DEN Chance to show payton who's boss, don't take an offensive player, even though that's what he wants. GB and HOU didn't have to Take 2 of the Defensive players you wanted but they did. not like DEN has many needs in the 1st place but i'll throw in a sleeper, in the case that CB Rhodes and S Elam is off the board. take Amerson, a top 5 player not CB, before this year, but moved down, when he projected to S due to a lack of Fluid Hips. but he runs a 4.4.That’s a solid conversion S to me.
29 - NE: DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Clemson
Favorite WR in the Draft. Not many people are talking about "Nuke" as much as they should. but on draft day I bet he works his way up to being the 4th WR taken and if he isn't? He should be. you might regret not having him be the 1st WR taken. He's that good. IDC if you Still have Welker, 2 TE's and a slot isn't enough for brady, not enough for a ring. It all depends on The Approach in FA, if you had 15M free cap space, and you were Belichick what would you do with the pick? probably trade down.
30 - ATL: Cornellius Carradine, DE, Florida State
i haven't seen other Mock Drafts but i imagine they say something like ATL-30-Tyler Eifert. but, the reason this pick is made, is you can get a TE later in the draft. you might have to trade up 2nd or 3rd round to get one, but you can do it later. it is the more immediate need, there's no more premium DL after the first round. good ones. yeah. Premier. NO, at the end of the day, ATL might Get Gonzalez back, they aren't getting Abraham back, and by all accounts when healthy this is kid is special
31 - SF: Eric Reid, FS, LSU
You're not Getting Ed Reed LOL, you have a better shot of getting Eric Reid right here. I hear SF wants Darelle Revis and these Big Names, that they don't need, listen, Revis will cost you more than Draft picks, He'll cost you money, that you don't have, NYJ will ask for players, and you'll give it to them because he's Revis, you want a DB so bad?, why not take Reid, or Johnathon Banks? not bad picks and,They don't have knee problems.SF has it as good as it gets.if it's not broken don't fix it.
32 - BAL: Jamie Collins, OLB, Southern Miss
BAL needs to rebuild this D, i'll tell BAL fans, Teo, Bad idea. If i was BAL i'd let every Defensive player whose name wasn't Ed Reed walk because you'll need to improve their postion at some point. they aren't good enough. this could be the moment that defense falls apart, if you don't start by taking this guy. it's not about floor at this point in the draft. no ones floor is high enough to command that they must be taken. but this guys ceilng. and you pass on him? good luck repeating with that

Poor -- Second half of your draft hardly makes any sense. Detroit takes a guard? Are you nuts? Milliner will NOT be the #1 overrall pick! Some guys will be lucky to be taken in the third round! Redo this please.

Below Average -- No way Lotulelei makes it past TB, if he drops that far at all.
Wednesday, March 6, 2013 9:35 PM
-- Let me defend my draft, to those calling it poor, if milliner isn't the number 1 pick, who is? Lotulelei, with heart issues? or a OT who may never make a pro bowl in his life? if millner ends up being one of the top CB in the league you got the pick wrong
Thursday, March 7, 2013 12:42 AM
Below Average -- You really haven't explained #16. Saying someone trades into that spot?
Sunday, March 17, 2013 11:40 PM
Above Average -- Collins, Amerson, Armstead day 2, Does Seattle still have Wilson? Plus that's Minnys pick anyways, and STL has Bradford still right? Moore is a little high, and if the Lions don't take Fisher Milliner or Joeckel they trade down.
Monday, March 18, 2013 12:18 AM
Poor -- Werner and D.Moore's stocks are dropping rapidly. No Guard will be taken #5. Milliner not worth top pick. Just bc an OL runs a fast 40, doesn't mean he goes top 20. WTF is Seattle picking Barkley for?
