Reasonable draft, leaving out all the trades that will inevitably happen in the first round.
1 - KC: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
The Chiefs just traded for Alex Smith, and they absolutely need to protect him if they want to have any hope for offensive success. Luke Joeckel is the best OT prospect in a while, and can both protect Smith and pave a path for Jamaal Charles. This pick should be a no-brainer.

2 - JAX: Dion Jordan, DE, Oregon
The Jaguars have been talking about implementing a new position called the "Leo." From what we've heard, this player will be an exclusive pass-rusher who will move around from being a DE to a LB, depending on the situation. Dion Jordan fits the bill for the Leo tremendously, as he is a terrific pass rusher who is unsure of his status as a DE or a LB. Welcome to the Leo, Dion Jordan.

3 - OAK: Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU
The Raiders have an atrocious pass rush, and need to fix it immediately. "Ziggy" Ansah is walking in the footsteps of Jason Pierre-Paul: he is a super-athletic pass rusher with limited experience who can only get better. He was dominant in the Senior Bowl and performed well at the combine. Expect the Raiders to take a chance on him early.

4 - PHI: Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida
The Eagles just cut D-linemen Mike Patterson and Cullen Jenkins, so it's pretty apparent that they need to draft at this position. Because of Star Lotulelei's heart condition scare, the Eagles will play it safe and take the next best DT.

5 - DET: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
The Lions need a secondary. They can't make the playoffs again unless they improve their corner play, especially when they have to deal with facing Aaron Rodgers twice a year and an improving Bears pass attack. Milliner had a phenominal college career and only helped his stock at the combine. Should be an easy pick for Detroit.

6 - CLE: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
Another team in desperate need of a pass rush, the Browns will take a proven contributor in Jones (don't believe the hype that his spinal issues are a legitimate repellant for teams). Damontre Moore could go here if he can convince teams that his combine was a fluke on his overall level of talent.

7 - ARI: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
The only thing funnier than Mark Sanchez' butt-fumble is watching the Arizona Cardinals try to protect their quarterback. They were constantly abused off the edge rush, and Eric Fisher can help fix their woes. He is the best tackle prospect behind Joeckel.

8 - BUF: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
The Fitzpatrick days are over, he will never be able to lead the Bills to the postseason. Geno Smith isn't at the level of the other young QB's in the league (Luck, RG3, Wilson, Kaepernick, Newton), but is certainly a long term appropriate upgrade over the Harvard boy.

9 - NYJ: Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee
The Jets pass attack was aweful last season, partly because Mark Sanchez is bad, and partly because the receivers weren't doing much to help him. Santonio Holmes can't help this team any more, so it's time to bring in fresh blood at receiver. Patterson i

10 - TEN: Desmond Trufant, CB, Washington
Tennessee needs help in the secondary. After an awesome combine performance and Senior Bowl, Desmond Trufant's stock has risen to where the Titans will be hard pressed to pass on him.

11 - SD: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
Chance Warmack has been cited by many as the best Guard prospect in decades. The Chargers have obvious issues on the offensive line, and Warmack will fill a huge hole for them.

12 - MIA: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
The talented pass rusher from Florida State gets to stay in the sunshine state, and will go play alongside Cameron Wake to give the Dolphins an imposing pass rush to try to finally turn thr corner in the AFC East.

13 - TB: Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State
Back-to-back, two Florida State players go to teams in Florida. With Desmond Trufant and Dee Milliner off the board, the next best option at cornerback for the Bucs is Rhodes. After the Talib trade with New England, this position is a necessity in this draft.

14 - CAR: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
Star Lotulelei is too good a football player to be passed up here. Even with his heart condition, he will most likely be fine. Carolina is strong at linebacker and on the edge of the line, but very soft in the middle. Lotulelei is a steal here.

15 - NO: Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU
Staying local, the Saints take a talented pass rusher to be an OLB in their soon to be 3-4 scheme. They have long had pass rush problems, and Mingo is a step in the right direction to fixing that.

16 - STL: Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma
Sam Bradford is an underrated NFL quarterback who has been plauged with bad receivers and a bad offensive line. Lane Johnson is a great blocker who also has great athleticism, running a near 4.7 in the 40 yard dash at the combine. The Rams will either take him or another lineman.

17 - PIT: Kenny Vaccaro, SS, Texas
Ryan Clark is 33 and slowly declining in performance. Vaccaro could grow into his replacement and learn from one of the best in the business in Troy Polamalu. If any of the potential 3-4 OLB's already taken fall to them here though (Jones, Jordan, Mingo, Ansah), the Steelers won't hesitate to draft James Harrison's replacement.

18 - DAL: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
The Cowboys are switching to a Tampa 2, and Richardson fits the DT role beautifully. He is explosive with a high motor, giving him potential to be a disruptive player on the Cowboys defensive line.

19 - NYG: Alec Ogletree, ILB, Georgia
The Giants aren't exactly loaded at the linebacker position, and Ogletree can play each 4-3 linebacker position pretty darn well. Don't be surprised if they take a DE that will replace Osi Umenyiora, who is a free agent.

20 - CHI: Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame
Yes, we all know his offseason couldn't have gone worse, with a terrible combine and the whole fake girlfriend thing. But the Bears for the last decade have been built around the leadership of Brian Urlacher, who is declining rapidly. You can't doubt Te'o's ability as a leader, something the Bears will need going foreward.

21 - CIN: Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M
Draft day trends tend to drop players a lot further than they should. Finally the Bengals will take a chance on poor Damontre Moore. He had a stellar season on tape but a horrific combine, which will lead to the draft day plunge. But matched alongside Geno Atkins, the Bengals pass rush will become scary good.

22 - STL: Tavon Austin, WR, West Virginia
Sam Bradford got some protection with their earlier pick, now he finally gets an explosive playmaker at wide receiver. Danny Amendola has been his only consistent option, and that must change if the Rams want to compete against the 49ers and Seahawks in the NFC West.

23 - MIN: Keenan Allen, WR, California
Adrian Peterson carried the VIkings to the playoffs singlehandedly. Percy Harvi's return will help greatly, but Christian Ponder needs one more weapon to take the passing game to the next level, and an aging Michael Jenkins isn't that person.

24 - IND: Johnthan Banks, CB, Mississippi State
Andrew Luck can only do so much for the Colts, the defense must pick up the slack. The depth at cornerback is bad, so they take the best remaining n Banks.

25 - SEA: Kawann Short, DT, Purdue
The Seahawks have good pass rushers on the edge in Chris Clemons and the developing Bruce Irvin, but need help in the middle. Kawann Short is that help, as the best DT left on the board.

26 - GB: Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame
The Green Bay Packers should be fed up and done with Jermichael Finley's inconsistency. He drops too many passes, is injury prone, and has questionable work ethic. Tyler Eifert is a great pass catching TE that will make Aaron Rodgers that much more dangerous.

27 - HOU: Kevin Minter, ILB, LSU
After Brian Cushing went down for the season with a torn ACL, the Texans were exposed at the ILB position. They can't let that happen again.

28 - DEN: Eddie Lacy, RB, Alabama
The Broncos could only go so far without the remote threat of a run game. If they take Eddie Lacy, watch out, because there will be that even more room for Peyton Manning to wreak havoc on opposing defenses.

29 - NE: Matt Elam, SS, Florida
The Patriots transitioned cornerback Devon McCourty to safety after the Aqib Talib trade. By drafting a safety like Elam, they can either replace the below-average Steve Gregory or move McCourty to a nickel position, making the Patriots defense finally intimidating.

30 - ATL: Jonathan Jenkins, DT, Georgia
The Falcons just cut their most consistent pass rusher in John Abraham. Defensive coordinator Mike Nolan would rather run a 3-4 with this team, but to do that would need a true nose tackle that the Falcons simply don't have. Enter 350 pound John Jenkins, who had a great Senior Bowl and is also a local product out of Georgia..

31 - SF: Jonathan Cyprien, SS, Florida International
The 49ers are seemingly very ready to let the very overrated Dashon Goldson walk in free agency. I wouldn't be completely shocked though if they moved up much higher in the draft to take a top-notch CB like Marcus Trufant. They have something like 15 draft picks and most wont make the roster, so why not trade a sizable amount of them to get a top notch CB instead to replace the headache named Chris Culliver?

32 - BAL: Margus Hunt, DE, Southern Methodist
They could lose starter Paul Kruger in free agency, so the defending champs will take a chance on the player with the most raw potential left on the board. Margus Hunt is from Estonia and has only been playing organized football for 4 years, so there is still a lot for him to learn and improve on. He was easily the top defensive lineman at the combine. Boom or bust, the Ravens will take him.
