Author's Comments

Tampa Bay trades 1st, 2nd, and 4th for Cleveland Browns 1st.

1 - KC: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
This pick is in when they traded for Alex Smith. Joeckel is a beast and provided great blocking for a guy named Johnny Football.
2 - JAX: Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida
New regime and Bradley is a guy who relied heavy on Mebane in Seattle and Floyd is a spitting image of him. Floyd is a terrifying monster in the middle going against some of the best competition in the SEC and produced.
3 - OAK: Dion Jordan, DE, Oregon
Missing Wimbley's pass rushing ability really effected the Raiders defense and their below average corners got exposed. Jordan is an Aldon Smith type player who can stand to gain some weight but he could be a hybrid LB/DE similar to Von Miller.
4 - PHI: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
Peters ACL has torn twice and we have no clue if he will ever be the same. Fisher is one notch below Joeckel and some even say he is on the same level.
5 - DET: Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU
Lions have never really cared about their corner depth so why start now, Avril and KVB are both Free Agents they need to add some depth ASAP. Ansah is raw but with the comparisons to JPP and the way he shined in the senior bowl and his combine numbers made him a top 10 pick.
6 - TB: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
Trade Tampa Bay and Cleveland: The Bucs sorely need an elite CB since they lost Talib and Wright is no way a number 1 corner. Milliner solidified his status at the combine and this is the pick which usually the top CB goes, Milliner has closing speed and is very physical corner who reminds me of Charles Tillman.
7 - ARI: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
Arians loves his young QB's to groom, Smith is by far the top QB in this draft and has all the intangibles he just needs to work on his progressions and awareness.
8 - BUF: Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee
I believe all of the free agent WR's will be too expensive for the Bills blood. Patterson is a Demaryius Thomas and Andre Johnson mix that has good speed and size but needs to polish up he is still raw is route running.
9 - NYJ: Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU
So many holes to fill and so little money to do it. With Both pass rushers gone the Jets will get to fill one here with Mingo who has disruptive speed and strength, also he could add a few pounds for the run.
10 - TEN: Desmond Trufant, CB, Washington
The Titans tend to reach when they are desperate here to fix their secondary problems. Trufant is a pedigree type player and his combine numbers were dead on with Milliners and he had one heck of an Senior Bowl game.
11 - SD: Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma
McCoy and Whisenhunt know keeping their franchise QB off the ground is a must and they desperatly need a LT since Gaither is more of a RT. Johnson is quick and light footed while showing great technique in the Senior Bowl rarely getting pushed around.
12 - MIA: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
Starks is a Free Agent and Odrick can stay at DE now. Richardson has a crazy motor and did well even when he was in the SEC.
13 - CLE: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
Trade Cleveland and Tampa Bay: This pick will really depend on Free Agency since they have the 2nd most cap to spend. Since they are going to a 3-4 defense they have no OLB's and Werner dropping to them made this trade worth it. Werner is a relentless attacker while he is not great at anything he is good at everything if he gets stronger he could really dominate and be a steal.
14 - CAR: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
Heart issues or not Carolina is shocked Lotulelei drops to them but with no combine and probably no pro day teams will only have what doctors say about his heart. Lotulelei when healthy is an destructive force playing very similar to Ngata from the Ravens.
15 - NO: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
Spine Injury will concern a lot of the top draft pick teams however with a team like the Saints they can afford to take this risk. Jones is an elite pass rusher and ball hawk but with them spinal issues it could scare a lot of teams.
16 - STL: Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina
I know Warmack is the best G in the draft but Cooper shine at the combine showing he is the more athletic and just as strong as Warmack while being more scheme versatile since he can play all three interior line positions. Cooper is an athletic freak and the fact he is so versatile Fisher will love him since he can play center when Wells is done his contract.
17 - PIT: Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M
Moore falls in the draft since he bench 225 12 times for a guy who is 270 however he looked way better on tape and I think the Steeler's will see that. Moore is a great pass rusher but he needs to add more strength somewhere fast if he is too take over for Harrison.
18 - DAL: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
Dallas has to make this pick, Warmack could go higher but he did not have great combine numbers and really can only play G the best guard last year Decastro was drafted 24th and the Cowboys had him as their 12 best player. If Warmack would have been a Tackle he could very well be the best player in this draft but he is guard which makes his value decrease.
19 - NYG: D.J. Fluker, OT, Alabama
Locklear is a 32 year old free agent and Diehl was just plain bad they need a young RT for years to come to go with Beatty. Fluker is a big bodied RT who reminds me of Andre Smith who was picked 6th when he was drafted.
20 - CHI: Alec Ogletree, ILB, Georgia
I just do not see Urlacher coming back he is too old and too many injuries have just caught up to him. Ogletree had some off the field issues however his combine numbers were outstanding and a top 5 athlete.
21 - CIN: Kenny Vaccaro, SS, Texas
Clements can not play SS it was a nice try to use him there but it never worked out. Vaccaro is a ball hawk safety that only drops from a good free agent safety class and safety depth in this years draft.
22 - STL: Tavon Austin, WR, West Virginia
Danny Amendola contract looks like they won't get a deal done this year with the money he is asking. Austin is an mix of Percy Harvin's explosiveness and Wes Welker's hands.
23 - MIN: Keenan Allen, WR, California
Percy Harvin might be leaving since he really has no interest in being an Viking anymore. Allen has good size with speed and quickness that they really missed that physical WR since Sidney Rice has gone.
24 - IND: Sylvester Williams, DT, North Carolina
This team needs line help and Williams can play both NT and the 1 technique the playoffs showed #chuckstrong can only motivate so much. Williams is a very athletic DT he has the size and speed for the 3-4.
25 - SEA: Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame
The Seahawks do not care about his off the field issues they only care that he is a good player when he has a strong team around him. It shows on tape he is better than his combine numbers however he needs to get out of the spotlight and just relax he will play the weak side backer.
26 - GB: Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame
I believe Finley is gone soon from the Packers since he is unreliable dropping a ton of passes last year. Eifert is an absolute beast and is an all around monster of a TE who can block and catch.
27 - HOU: Kevin Minter, ILB, LSU
This defense suffered some what without Ryans and James is getting older plus Cushings ACL tear this team needs ILB help now. Minter is an hard hitting leader ILB with good size and range plus he lead a top defense in the SEC.
28 - DEN: Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State
Between Champ Bailey getting burnt all game and Rahim Moores bone head play on the Jacoby Jones TD this team needs to start looking for their CB of the future. Rhodes is a really good man to man corner with good size and speed.
29 - NE: Johnthan Banks, CB, Mississippi State
They lost their last game because of their depth at CB now they are likely to resign Talib but the other CB can no longer be Kyle Arrington this secondary needs to be more physical. Banks is a very physical corner who is faster than his combine numbers show however his lateral movement could use some help.
30 - ATL: Alex Okafor, DE, Texas
Abraham was cut and that means their sack leader is gone and they need to start getting pressure on the QB since it was one of the reasons why they lost the NFC championship. Okafor is solid strong side DE doing his best work against the run however he could average in the 7-10 sack range in the NFL.
31 - SF: Margus Hunt, DE, Southern Methodist
Justin Smith is getting old and injury prone but he has a couple years left in the tank. Hunt is a freak athlete but is super raw and really does not fit an 4-3 end he will be better suited in the 3-4 while learning from Smith who was one of the best.
32 - BAL: Johnathan Hankins, DT, Ohio State
I know everyone will be on the get a MLB kick with Ray Lewis gone but NT is a position of great need, Kemoeatu is 34 and Cody is a back up for life. Hankins could really be a good NT in the NFL he has good strength could try to add some speed and some technique.
