3/24 mdal33's Mock Draft
3/12 mdal33's Mock Draft (Round 2)
1 - KC: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
Andy Reid era starts with solid pick. Best overall player in the draft.
2 - JAX: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
Jags must find way to fill seats next year. Smith should bring excitement to a once proud franchise.
3 - OAK: Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida
Raider type player with high motor.Reminds me of Warren Sapp.
4 - PHI: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
Eagles desperately need help up front on offense. This guy could be staple on that line for years.
5 - DET: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
Lions will take best corner on board and fill giant need.
6 - CLE: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
Browns are stockpiling talent on this team. Jones is too good to pass up and they know steelers are high on him also.
7 - ARI: Keenan Allen, WR, California
There's no dominate WR in this draft but cards get some one to play opposite Fitzgerald.
8 - BUF: Matt Barkley, QB, USC
Bills reach for Barkley but don't have a choice. Fitzpatrick stinks period.
9 - NYJ: Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU
Jets love taking pass rushers in first round. This year is no exception. This guy has tons of upside.
10 - TEN: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
Titans finally find replacement for Haynesworth. This guy is a monster and he slips to tenth.
11 - SD: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
Chargers know they need o line help first and foremost. This guy is a Joe Staley type.
12 - MIA: DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Clemson
Phins fans should be happy Miami finally gets top notch receiver.
13 - TB: Desmond Trufant, CB, Washington
Bucs could use help in the secondary. Rhonde Barber can't play forever.
14 - CAR: Dion Jordan, DE, Oregon
Panthers will add weight to Jordan and have their Julius Peppers again.
15 - NO: Kenny Vaccaro, SS, Texas
Saints secondary was pitiful with their tackling last year. This guy is a tackling machine on the back side.
16 - STL: Tavon Austin, WR, West Virginia
Rams get arguably the most exciting player in the draft and also fill a big need.
17 - PIT: Jonathan Jenkins, DT, Georgia
Steelers throw everyone a curve and draft Casey Hamptons replacement. NT is critical position in the 3-4.
18 - DAL: Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma
Dallas can't ignore the o line any longer.Johnson is a tremendous athelete and has huge upside.
19 - NYG: Kevin Minter, ILB, LSU
Giants type pick here. Nothing splashy just a solid player that loves the game.
20 - CHI: Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina
Bears realize they have no chance if Cutler keeps getting rocked when he drops back to pass.
21 - CIN: Eddie Lacy, RB, Alabama
The last piece to the puzzle. This guy could put Cincy over the top.
22 - STL: Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State
Luxury pick here. This guy can play corner or safety.
23 - MIN: Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee
Vikes need playmakers on offense. Patterson should help them in the red zone.
24 - IND: Jesse Williams, DT, Alabama
Williams can play DTin both 3-4 and 4-3 defenses. Colts need to get bigger up front on both sides of the ball.
25 - SEA: Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame
Another red zone weapon for Wilson. This could be a dynamic player at the next level.
26 - GB: Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU
Mingo s slide ends here with Packers looking for help opposite Mathews.
27 - HOU: Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame
Texans looking for help on defense. Te'o was overrated but is still a talent at linebacker.
28 - DEN: Eric Reid, FS, LSU
Broncos embarrassed in playoffs because of secondary performance. Uprades needed.
29 - NE: Matt Elam, SS, Florida
Pats still looking for secondary help. Elam is tough and comes from .. you guessed it Florida.
30 - ATL: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
Falcons can't believe Werner falls this far. They need to bolster pass rush next year.
31 - SF: Stedman Bailey, WR, West Virginia
Bailey was overlooked this year because of Austin but he is a talented receiver and seriously the niners don't have many holes.
32 - BAL: Arthur Brown, ILB, Kansas State
This guy plays hard and has an attitude. Just what the Ravens are looking for to replace R. Lewis.
