3/13 Sdotinfo's Mock Draft
2/11 Sdotinfo's Mock Draft
1 - JAX: Matt Barkley, QB, USC
I don't think they can pass him up here.
2 - SF: Datone Jones, DE, UCLA
This will help their bad pass rush. Plus he is insurance for an aging Smith.
3 - PHI: Johnthan Banks, CB, Mississippi State
With Namdi gone and DRC a free agent, they need to seriously think about their secondary.
4 - DET: Alex Okafor, DE, Texas
This is a need position for them.
6 - ARI: Mike Glennon, QB, North Carolina State
Their terrible QB play last year warrants this pick. I mean they have Fitz for Gods sake.
7 - NYJ: Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee
With the QB situation the way it is, they need a big redzone target to go up and get it.
8 - TEN: Zach Ertz, TE, Stanford
They need help everywhere and this is a value pick and a need.
9 - BUF: Sam Montgomery, DE, LSU
This guy should be able to play DE and OLB.
10 - MIA: Margus Hunt, DE, Southern Methodist
This is to try and help Wake get to the passer. This guy is big off the edge.
11 - TB: Kawann Short, DT, Purdue
I have them taking a DE in the first round. So this pick will fill their second D line hole, and shore up their pass rush.
12 - CAR: Sylvester Williams, DT, North Carolina
Top two picks are DTs, maybe they are tired of the ball getting ran all over them.
13 - SD: Bacarri Rambo, FS, Georgia
Besides O line help the Chargers secondary needs major help too.
14 - STL: Jesse Williams, DT, Alabama
DE, WR, now DT all filling needs for the Rams. This is going to be a good draft for them.
15 - DAL: Arthur Brown, ILB, Kansas State
Going to a 3-4 defense, they need LB depth and Brown will help at MLB.
16 - PIT: Terrance Williams, WR, Baylor
This guy is 6'2" and can run I see him replacing Wallace.
17 - NYG: Kyle Long, OT, Oregon
They need two tackles, this guy should be serviceable.
18 - CHI: Larry Warford, OG, Kentucky
Nice big G to go with their big T. They might be able to keep Cutler on his feet.
19 - WAS: David Amerson, CB, North Carolina State
This guy can play at corner or free safety wherever he helps more.
20 - MIN: Barrett Jones, OG, Alabama
This guy can start day one at RG or LG for them and easily be an upgrade.
21 - CIN: Giovani Bernard, RB, North Carolina
This is their number one need.
22 - MIA: Jordan Poyer, CB, Oregon State
They need 2 CB's so this pick fits.
23 - GB: Robert Woods, WR, USC
They need to replace Jennings and quick. I don't know if this is enough.
24 - SEA: Menelik Watson, OT, Florida State
This is the best option to fill a hole at this pick. They need a RT anyway.
25 - HOU: Dallas Thomas, OT, Tennessee
They need to upgrade their RT position badly.
26 - DEN: Cornellius Carradine, DE, Florida State
They need to replace 10.5 sacks and this is a start.
27 - NE: Quinton Patton, WR, Louisiana Tech
I see him as a big target for Tom Brady. They need a few replacement WR's anyway.
28 - ATL: Corey Lemonier, DE, Auburn
They need two DE's. They will still need to find help via free agency.
29 - WAS: Blidi Wreh-Wilson, CB, Connecticut
This fixes the Redskins secondary. If they do trade into the first round with Orakpo, this makes two CB's who can play safety and one of the best SS's in the draft.
30 - BAL: Phillip Thomas, SS, Fresno State
Two picks two safeties.
31 - ---: Carson York, OG, Oregon
Forfeit pick don't take into consideration.
32 - ---: C.J. Zimmerer, FB, Nebraska
Forfeit pick don't take into consideration.
