Author's Comments

This is my current NFL Mock Draft. Feel free to add any suggestions.

1 - KC: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
Joeckel is a nice start for new organization and arguably the best player in the draft.
2 - JAX: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
Could go a lot of different ways, but Fisher is nice cornerstone to pair with QB Blaine Gabbert.
3 - OAK: Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida
Go also go a lot of different ways, but with departure of Richard Seymour, Floyd can be cornerstone of defense for years to come.
4 - PHI: Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma
Seems like it would be fitting to pair Dion with his former coach, Chip Kelly, but the Eagles need to retool their O-line for whoever is their starting QB next season.
5 - DET: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
Could use a pass rusher with FA Cliff Avril unlikely to re-sign, but secondary lacks a shutdown corner and Milliner has that potential.
6 - CLE: Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU
With new defense in Cleveland, Ansah is the type of player that can put his hands in the dirt or move outside and play linebacker.
7 - ARI: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
Arizona begins their new regime with Geno Smith, the best QB in the draft.
8 - BUF: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
Could try to go for QB or WR, but Warmack helps out run and pass game.
9 - NYJ: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
Rex Ryan loves pass rushers and he arguably gets the best pure pass rusher in the draft.
10 - TEN: Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina
Tennessee retools O-line to open lanes for Chris Johnson.
11 - SD: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
San Diego has bigger needs at OT and OG, but go with a DT that they can plug in from Day 1.
12 - MIA: Tavon Austin, WR, West Virginia
Miami gets an electric playmaker to pair up with QB Ryan Tannehil.
13 - TB: Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State
Tampa Bay gets a big-bodies CB to replace void left by Aqib Talib.
14 - CAR: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
Carolina needs a playmaker at DT and the versatile Richardson can play DE as well as DT.
15 - NO: Dion Jordan, DE, Oregon
With Rob Ryan's new defense comes a pass rushin specialist to help revitalize New Orleans's putrid defense.
16 - STL: Kenny Vaccaro, SS, Texas
St.Louis could also go for a WR, but needs Safety to sure up back end of their defense.
17 - PIT: Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee
The departure of WR results in the drafting of Patterson.
18 - DAL: D.J. Fluker, OT, Alabama
Dallas has Tyron Smith, but needs to stabilize the other OT position in order to orotect QB Tony Romo.
19 - NYG: Alec Ogletree, ILB, Georgia
New York finds their answer at ILB.
20 - CHI: Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame
Chicago is need for a pass catching TE and another target for QB Jay Cutler.
21 - CIN: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
Cincinnati may be in need of a new pass rusher with DE Michael Johnson set to hit the market.
22 - STL: Keenan Allen, WR, California
St.Louis satisfies their need at WR with their second first round draft selection.
23 - MIN: DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Clemson
Minnesota needs offensive weapons not named Adrian Peterson and Percy Harvin.
24 - IND: Desmond Trufant, CB, Washington
The Colts ae in desperate need of a No. 1 CB and Trufant's stock had bren rising over thr past few weeks.
25 - SEA: Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M
Seattle's pass-rushing depth was exposed following Chris Clemon's ACL injury.
26 - GB: Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU
Mingo may be the pass rusher that Green Bay is looking for.
27 - HOU: Terrance Williams, WR, Baylor
Kind of a reach, but Houston needs a legitimate reciever opposite Andre Johnson.
28 - DEN: Johnathan Hankins, DT, Ohio State
Denver has a real need at DT and his presence will help the run as well as the pass.
29 - NE: Johnthan Banks, CB, Mississippi State
New England once again has a need at CB with the possibility of Aqib Talib leaving in free agency.
30 - ATL: Zach Ertz, TE, Stanford
Atlanta uses this pick to fill the void left by Tony Gonzalez.
31 - SF: Kawann Short, DT, Purdue
SanFran already has a very complete team, but you can never have too much depth on the D-line.
32 - BAL: Kevin Minter, ILB, LSU
Baltimore always goes for the best player available and does that in addition to adressing an area of need.
