Let me know what you think! Open to comments and debate!

1 - KC: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
Rumblings are that this could just as easily be Eric Fisher, who most think could be the better pro than Joeckel. Only time will tell.
2 - JAX: Dion Jordan, DE, Oregon
While I still maintain that the biggest need is cornerback with the departure of both starters in FA, word is they are strongly leaning toward pass rush. If that is the case, Jordan is the no brainer pick. Every team in the top 4 is rumored to Smith as well, but I think the FO gives Gabbert one more year. Maybe they get lucky and draft first next year and get Bridgewater. Jordan instantly provides an upgrade and some coverage skills for the LEO spot. Alternate pick: Eric Fisher, OT Central Micha
3 - ARI: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
TRADE: If the Cardinals want a starting tackle, they'll have to trade up. And with this draft expected to have a record number of trades, I think this situation is more than plausible.
4 - PHI: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
Pair him with the budding Cox on the defensive line and the Eagles could be set for the long term in the middle of their 3-4 defense. I believe it to be too early to take Johnson, which is the bigger need, so maybe look for the Eagles to trade down. Alternate pick: Dee Milliner, CB Alabama
5 - DET: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
So many needs, so many choices. As of late Ansah has gained some steam, while Lane Johnson is somewhat of a reach at this point. I believe though that the Lions have to be smart enough to know that Ansah is not a Top 5 talent, while Milliner is. He addresses a need and also offers the right value at this point. Alternate pick: Ezekiel Ansah, DE BYU
6 - SD: Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma
TRADE: Now before you rip me for saying Johnson was a reach the pick before this one, the Bolts are desperate for a good left tackle, and desperate teams do desperate things on draft day. If they love Johnson enough, then moving up a few spots to secure him shouldn't come as a surprise. Supremely athletic for a big man, he should form into a fine tackle.
7 - OAK: Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida
Having landed Carson Palmer (a steal of a bridge for what they gave up for him), Floyd makes a ton of sense here. They have a gaping hole in the middle of their 4-3, and Floyd can be a building block for the next 10 years. Alternate pick: Geno Smith, QB West Virginia
8 - BUF: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
The popular pick here is Geno Smith, and understandably so. But you don't pay Kolb the money you did to sit the bench. I don't think they want a Matt Flynn type situation. Drafting probably the safest pick in the draft at 8 isn't a bad move. I believe they target Nassib in round 2, maybe even trade into bottom 1st to land him. Alternate pick: Geno Smith, QB West Virginia
9 - NYJ: Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU
This pick comes down to who they value more, Tavon Austin or Mingo. With Ryan as the head coach, I'm guessing Mingo. Word is they are trying to trade out of this pick, but I think Ryan would be estatic if the athletic freak is still here. Alternate pick: Tavon Austin, WR West Virginia
10 - TEN: Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU
The Titans are elated to find Ansah here, and truthfully this is a much better value than top 5 for a 1 year starter with very little football experience. But his tools, oh my. Instant upgrade in the pass rush, and Titans fans should be jumping with joy. Alternate pick: Jonathon Cooper, OG North Carolina
11 - CLE: Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina
Cleveland could go a couple of ways here, but Cooper makes sense. They have a franchise young runner in Richardson, so giving him Cooper to pave the way would greatly benefit all parties. Some think he may be better than Warmack, only time will tell. Alternate pick: Xavier Rhodes, CB Florida State
12 - MIA: Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State
The Fins landed coveted young corner Brent Grimes in FA, but they still have a significant need on the other side of the field. Enter Rhodes, a big, aggressive corner who likes to play with his hands on the receiver. Should pan out well in Miami, staying in his college state adding to the fanbase excitement. Alternate pick: DJ Fluker, OT Alabama
13 - SF: Tavon Austin, WR, West Virginia
TRADE: Well, you knew San Fran had to make a bold move to add a player to take them over the top, and Austin is the most explosive player in the draft. Add him to that pistol offense, just like in college, and he will do some MAJOR damage.
14 - CAR: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
A pure disruptor born to play the DT spot in a 4-3, this kid makes plays in the backfield. Really athletic for his size, he should help plug one of the holes Carolina has in the middle. Adding him will make it tough to run between the tackles with him and Kuechley. Alternate pick: Justin Hunter, WR Tennessee
15 - NO: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
The Saints CANNOT pass up his production here. Once thought of as the best player coming out, his workouts didn't quite live up to expectations. While those workouts play their role, his film is more important. Draft him and reap the rewards. I for one would be jumping with joy. Alternate pick: DJ Fluker, OT Alabama
16 - STL: Kenny Vaccaro, SS, Texas
If the Rams stay put, Vaccaro is a good value meets need pick. He is just a solid football player, nothing flashy, but consistent. Can cover the slot if needed and is an enforcer against the run. Fills a big need at safety for the Rams. Alternate pick: Justin Hunter, WR Tennessee
17 - PIT: Alec Ogletree, ILB, Georgia
A super athletic inside linebacker to inject some youth into the Steel Curtain. Perfect fit. Alternate pick: Cordarrelle Patterson, WR Tennessee
18 - DAL: D.J. Fluker, OT, Alabama
After moving Tyron Smith to left tackle, and handling it pretty well, adding Fluker to the right side could pay huge dividends with a runner like Murray. Fluker is a huge mauler, with the wingspan of the Pelicans Anthony Davis while only standing 6'5". Good, safe pick from Jerry Jones after making a splash for Mo Claiborne last year. Alternate pick: Sylvester Williams, DT North Carolina
19 - NYG: D.J. Hayden, CB, Houston
Hayden is flying up media draft boards as they catch up to what scouts already know, this kid has the complete package. His knock is his awful injury that almost killed him, but he has made a tremendous recovery and is cleared for contact. Amukamara is starting to come into his own, and the G-Men have a need on the other side of him. Hayden can get the job done, as he is great at playing the ball in a league that loves to throw it. Alternate pick: Manti Te'o, MLB Notre Dame
20 - CHI: Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame
Now that Urlacher has moved on, the Bears must find a young LB to fill that void. Reminiscent of Urlacher, Te'o brings incredible intangibles to the table. He does have issues against power run teams (like Bama) but that can be fixed. Once talked about as a top 5 pick, his slide stops here. Alternate pick: Tyler Eifert, TE Notre Dame
21 - CIN: Matt Elam, SS, Florida
This is a team on the rise, and it's defense is a major reason why. They have talent on the offensive side of the ball with Dalton, Green, Gresham and Zeitler on the line. They may lose Andre Smith, but the longer he stays out there the higher the chance he resigns. So safety is the priority, and Elam fits well with their ferocity on defense. Some say he is the best safety in the draft, so good value meets need here. Alternate pick: Alec Ogletree, ILB Georgia
22 - STL: Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee
Media outlets are reporting that teams are really high on this kid, much more so than most pundits thought originally. If St Louis gets out of the first round with these two picks, pop the champagne. Alternate pick: Sylvester Williams, DT North Carolina
23 - MIN: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
Some argue he won't last this long, but adding a pass rusher opposite Allen that they haven't had since Ray Edwards heyday is a must. Werner is an immediate upgrade to the pass rush. Next? Alternate pick: Cordarrelle Patterson, WR Tennessee
24 - IND: Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M
After releasing Dwight Freeney, they have to find a replacement. I don't see Jerry Hughes, the former first round pick, being the solution. Not to mention this regime didn't draft him. So Moore is there and becomes the pick. He has the versatility to play upright or with his hand in the ground, which should make him a good fit in Pagano's defense. Regardless of how reportedly bad his combine interviews were, the kid can flat out play. Alternate pick: Menelik Watson, OT Florida State
25 - MIN: Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee
There are whispers that Patterson is too big of a project to go in the first, but his skill set it too tantlizing to pass up for the Vikings. Adding more weapons for Ponder is a must if he is to succeed. Patterson is a good place to start. Alternate pick: Alec Ogletree, ILB Georgia
26 - GB: Eddie Lacy, RB, Alabama
I've gotten a lot of criticism over this pick from Packer fans, but I don't understand why. There is a lot of young talent on the defensive side of the ball that will develop under Capers, but they HAVE to have an answer at RB. Alternate pick: Jonathon Cyprien, S FIU
27 - HOU: Robert Woods, WR, USC
They need a WR opposite Andre Johnson, who supports the idea. Hopkins was the pick here last time, but reports of him trashing a hotel room at the combine can only hurt his stock. Alternate pick: Alec Ogletree, ILB Georgia
28 - DEN: Jonathan Cyprien, SS, Florida International
A big, physical safety to enforce that backend. I feel this guy is pretty underrated coming from the Sun Belt Conference, but he'll make noise on the next level. Really like his size and aggression, and after watching Rahim Moore cause the Broncs the Super Bowl last year, this makes sense. Alternate pick: Sylvester Williams, DT North Carolina
29 - NE: DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Clemson
Add another weapon to the Pats stable...oh wait, they don't have any receivers outside of Gronk and Hernandez you say? By God you're right! Losing Welker and cutting Lloyd left this team in need of pass catchers. Enter Hopkins, a big and physical wideout with plenty of upside. The Pats have a history of taking players with character concerns and making it work out. Alternate pick: Margus Hunt, DE SMU
30 - ATL: Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame
The best TE in this draft to groom under and eventually replace arguably the best TE of all time. Makes sense on every level. Alternate pick: Desmond Trufant, CB Washington
31 - NYJ: Margus Hunt, DE, Southern Methodist
Big Hunt can easily play the DE spot in the Jets defense with his size and athleticism, pairing with Wilkerson. He occasionally has leverage issues but at 6'8", it's easy to see why. Alternate pick: Jamie Collins, OLB Southern Miss
32 - BAL: Kevin Minter, ILB, LSU
His athleticism for the position is outstanding, and he can anchor the interior of the defense after the retirement of the great Ray Lewis. Alternate pick: Eric Reid, S LSU

Excellent -- All of your picks work, but since I'm a Lions fan, I would like to know why we trade up for 3? We only have 6 picks to begin with, so trading up makes little sense, even if it means jumping Philly. Great Picks!

Average -- To answer your question, I did it for a little fun haha truthfully I don't think you would want lane Johnson at 5, and Eric fisher wouldn't of lasted past the eagles. You need d line help too so Jordan could have been the pick. In this scenario, milliner

Excellent -- Great job man. I know you're a regular on the Saintsreport board. Spread the news over there and let's see some more mocks!

Poor -- I just don't understand how you can say that RB is the Packers top need. IT IS DE, OT & S. And DT, OLB depth. Remember their run defense? Injuries on the OL? Rookie Safeties opposite Burnett? C'MON MAN!!!
Wednesday, March 20, 2013 7:24 AM
Above Average -- Packer fan: When was the last time you guys had anything resembling a run game? Or rather can you answer why they were chasing Steven Jackson in FA? I think your front office is valuing RB more than you think.
Wednesday, March 20, 2013 2:04 PM
Average -- 2010, super bowl champs without a running game until the playoffs They want to upgrade RB but it's FAR FROM their biggest need. They won't draft a RB until the 3rd maybe the 2nd. Fixing the run "D" is #1 priority more length @ DE & depth @ DT
Wednesday, March 20, 2013 3:15 PM
Average -- How is a RB in the 1st gonna stop the read option. They lost Jennings in FA why isn't a WR their biggest need? Jones is a FA 2014 & Nelson 2015. It doesn't work that way with Ted Thompson.
Monday, March 25, 2013 5:39 PM
Average -- Listen, I appreciate your efforts but RB is not the Packers biggest need. At this point I think you're just being stubborn
Tuesday, March 26, 2013 4:12 PM
Average -- You guys have Matthews, hawk, Bishop, and perry for your line backing corps. raji and jolly are decent. You have some of the most promising you DB's in tremon
Monday, April 8, 2013 5:28 PM
Poor -- It's official, you're beyond stubborn! Why R U so obsessed with a RB for the Packers? You have no legitimate argument. Jolly hasn't played in 3 years! He's doesn't exist! Don't U get IT? S.F rushed for 529 yds, against GB, does Lacy play defense?
Monday, April 8, 2013 7:01 PM
Below Average -- If Floyd drops that far he won't make it past TB. And where is Ansah? He's pegged as a top 10 pick in most drafts!
Monday, April 15, 2013 3:27 PM
-- Allow me to clarify. Jolly is coming back just read an article on that the other day. The legitimate arguement is your running game is absent. Period. And on the ansah point, yes it was pointed out to me and I totally missed it!
Monday, April 22, 2013 5:13 PM
Average -- I don't agree with all your picks, but I think some of the trades are gold. Some picks are really bold, but you have good knowledge to back it up. The reason packer fans are upset is because they're dumb. Good descriptions. Enjoyed the mock.
