Average Rank: 3.0 out of 5 (2 votes) -- Rank This Mock Draft
1 - KC: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
Brandon Albert got the franchise tag this offseason, and RT Eric Winston was released earlier this week. DT is a possibility here, but the safest pick should go first here.

2 - JAX: Dion Jordan, DE, Oregon
New jags head coach Gus Bradley builds his defense around speed as seen in Seattle last year. Personally, I can see the jags taking Milliner here after the releasing frenzy of the entire defensive backfield the past few weeks. But, with Jordan flying up the draft boards after running a 4.6 40-yd dash, no team can pass up having a freak athlete in the heart of the defense.

3 - OAK: Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida
This isn't the sexy pick that we are used to seeing out of the Raiders, but it is definitely the safest. The Raiders find themselves on the bottom in the NFL and they could upgrade just about every position with this pick. Geno Smith has potential here, but I think the Jamarcus Russell wound is still healing in Oakland.

4 - PHI: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
With the Eagles switching to a 3-4, Lotulelei presents the best run defense to build a defense around here at pick 4, especially after an impressive pro day.

5 - DET: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
The Lions should feel fortunate to have as many options here as they do. Ziggy Ansah was a freak at the combine, but he is very raw talent. The Lions need a smart and safe pick for once, and that's what they are getting in Milliner

6 - CLE: Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU
Cleveland could use a spark in the defense. They picked up Kruger in free agency and need a force opposite of him. Pick 5 and 6 could be interchangeable here as the Lions could take Ansah, and the Browns would be happy to take Milliner. Win-win

7 - ARI: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
It doesn't matter what scrub quarterback the Cardinals decide to use next year, they won't stand a chance without help on the line. Fisher put on a performance at the combine, and he has a serious chip on his shoulder coming from a small school.

8 - BUF: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
The Bills mysteriously released Ryan Fitzpatrick last week, and as a Viking's fan, T Jack is never going to be the answer. I can't imagine a scenario where the Bills don't either take a QB at pick 8, or trade down for one.

9 - NYJ: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
Pre-combine, Jones seemed to be (and easily could be) a lock as a top 5 pick. The Jets are starved for a 3-4 pass rusher and didn't really strike gold with Coples last year. Pending a Revis trade, I think they go LB here

10 - TEN: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
The Titans did sign Levitre in free agency, yet they have stressed upgrading the O-line for Locker/Fitzpatrick. Taking the best overall player in this year's draft will do just that.

11 - SD: Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma
The Chargers could go LB here, but Johnson had a great combine and pro day, and the chargers need to upgrade the line to help Rivers overcome the worst season of his career.

12 - MIA: Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State
Miami lost Sean Smith in free agency and they didn't have much of a presence in the secondary past him last year. They gladly take the 2nd best DB here

13 - TB: Desmond Trufant, CB, Washington
Pending a Revis trade of this pick, the Bucs are desperate for a corner. With Rhodes off the board, Trufant is the next best option here.

14 - CAR: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
Steve Smith pointed out that he wanted the Panthers to take Richardson here, and I think the team listens.

15 - NO: Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU
The Saints also switch to a 3-4 this year, and if Mingo falls to them at 15, the Saints grab him and don't look back.

16 - STL: Tavon Austin, WR, West Virginia
The electrifying receiver put on a show at the combine running the fastest 40, and caught every pass thrown his way. The Rams need help at safety, but with another pick later in the first round, they can afford to take a big play threat in the slot here to replace Amendola.

17 - PIT: Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee
The run on receivers continues through Pittsburgh who is still nursing the loss of Mike Wallace who took his talent to south beach. They could easily lose Emmanuel Sanders to the Patriots in the same breath. WR is a must here.

18 - DAL: Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina
Although 18 is still pretty high to take a guard, this is still a drop for Cooper who might not make it out of the top 15. If he does, Dallas scoops him up at 18

19 - NYG: Alec Ogletree, ILB, Georgia
Ogletree is a great cover guy in the middle, and he is exactly what the Giants need.

20 - CHI: D.J. Fluker, OT, Alabama
The Bears missed out on Loadholt, but they get arguably the best run blocking RT in this year's draft. Could go MLB here, but their willingness to part with Urlacher tells me they're happy enough with what they have.

21 - CIN: Menelik Watson, OT, Florida State
The Bengals missed out on Fluker, but they are very high on Watson. They don't hesitate taking him here.

22 - STL: Kenny Vaccaro, SS, Texas
As previously mentioned, the Rams need safety help. Though Vaccaro had a weak combine, he will be a playmaker on Sundays.

23 - MIN: Keenan Allen, WR, California
Allen is the tall outside guy that the Vikings have needed desperately. Allen doesn't have the elite breakaway speed, but he is an explosive route runner who is a self proclaimed "film junkie". He would pair perfectly with Jennings.

24 - IND: Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M
Moore takes a slide here at 24, and the Colts don't mind one bit after losing Freeney to free agency.

25 - MIN: Sylvester Williams, DT, North Carolina
The Vikings could go several ways with this pick, but I would be surprised if it wasn't on defense. With a need at middle linebacker, corner, and defensive tackle, there is plenty to address. MN is high on Sheldon Richardson and would be ecstatic to see him sitting here, but they lose out and take Williams here and reunite the Williams Wall.

26 - GB: Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame
Finley claims the chances of him getting resigned with the pack are 50/50. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't keep him and draft Eifert here. A big upgrade in my opinion.

27 - HOU: DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Clemson
The Texans singed Ed Reed today, so safety shouldn't be a huge issue in the first round. Houston lost Kevin Walter this offseason, and they seriously need a number 2 option after Andre Johnson. They take the next best receiver in Hopkins.

28 - DEN: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
A poor combine brings Werner from the potential first defensive player taken in the draft to the bottom of the first round. The Broncos lost Dumervil, and they need a replacement.

29 - NE: Johnthan Banks, CB, Mississippi State
The Patriots couldn't defend a pass last year to save their season, and if this pick isn't a DB, then its interior D line

30 - ATL: Arthur Brown, ILB, Kansas State
The Falcons are shopping for DE's in free agency which is probably their biggest need along with corners, but with the best corners gone, I think they will address it later in the draft.

32 - BAL: Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame
Te'o falls to 32 and is scooped up by Baltimore who is notorious for doing so. MLB is obviously a glaring hole after losing Ray Lewis, and Te'o has some awfully large shoes to fill

Above Average -- This draft is very well done. I have some difference of opinions, but that's why I have my own draft right? Well done.
