SunWolf's Mock Draft (Round 1)

<< Previous Mock Draft View all User NFL Mock Drafts Next Mock Draft >>

1 - KC: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
They want a trade won't get one, Andy Reid won't make the same mistake twice they'll get this kid and keep Brandon Albert.
2 - JAX: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
I think he goes here, likely because of trade with Buffalo or Browns, if Jags keep the pick its not QB, they're going to give Gabbert once more chance.
3 - OAK: Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida
They want Geno, but didn't want overpay move up one spot. So this future All-Pro is there guy and he fills a glaring need.
4 - PHI: Dion Jordan, DE, Oregon
I have no idea, Chip Kelly could go anywhere with this pick, but I think he gets a pass rusher.
5 - DET: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
No brainer, I don't think CB has more value than stud LT, Jarvis Jones OLB/DE should be in the conversation, but this is just too good to be true with Backus retiring.
6 - CLE: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
I think he checks out medically and gets some Love here, although I think this pick will be Jacksonville's after trade.
7 - ARI: Matt Barkley, QB, USC
Bruce Arians is no fool and will Coach this kid up in no time.
8 - BUF: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
They miss on getting a Franchise QB because Buddy Nix is an idiot, but this is still a solid pick.
9 - NYJ: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
They need a pass rusher and they get one, this guy medically cleared and will be a beast at next level.
10 - TEN: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
Bang, there he is, I think this kid is a Football Player, solid pick.
11 - SD: Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma
Another no brainer, Rivers needs some time to throw!
12 - MIA: D.J. Fluker, OT, Alabama
It's a bit high of him . . . Maybe? Yet they reached for Tannehill QB in 2012 Draft and it worked. I think losing J. Long and way draft has fallen in this mock, really leaves them little choice. I also think this kid will do good job.
13 - TB: Kenny Vaccaro, SS, Texas
I think the Bucc's get Revis and this pick will be the Jets, thus its FS/SS that replaces losing Landry, with Rex calling the plays he needs a smart capable leader and this guy is it much to Fishers chagrin.
14 - CAR: Johnthan Banks, CB, Mississippi State
They have needs everywhere, but CB is glaring and this guy will be a good one.
15 - NO: Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU
There defense was 31st in the league in 2012, this guy need to be coached up, but has tremendous upside, a steal here.
16 - STL: Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee
Fisher will be thrilled to get this kid here.
17 - PIT: Tavon Austin, WR, West Virginia
Receivers go back-to-back, this pick replaces M. Wallace on offense.
18 - DAL: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
Jerry Jones goes all in to protect a beleaguered Romo, this kid will be an All-Pro
19 - NYG: Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU
Pick replaces losing Osi, real good pick here, nice talent.
20 - CHI: Keenan Allen, WR, California
Chicago will be stocked to get this kid here.
21 - CIN: Alec Ogletree, ILB, Georgia
This kids poor attitude, etc. get him drafted by the Bengals.
22 - STL: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
Fishers gets coveted DT than can shut down the run.
23 - MIN: Johnathan Hankins, DT, Ohio State
Back-to-back DT's go, Minnesota needs some help there and they get it.
24 - IND: Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M
His surprising drop ends here, his weak strength at the Combine really hurt his draft stock.
25 - MIN: Desmond Trufant, CB, Washington
Replaces losing the ageless Winfield.
26 - GB: Eddie Lacy, RB, Alabama
They need something at the RB position and get coveted player here.
27 - HOU: Robert Woods, WR, USC
They got Ed Reed so instead going SS they address WR need.
28 - DEN: Sam Montgomery, DE, LSU
So long Dummerville hope you get the Fax? This guy day one starter.
29 - NE: Eric Reid, FS, LSU
Bill & Company continue shore up the secondary.
30 - ATL: Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina
One of the best GM's in the business, he doesn't miss.
31 - SF: Jesse Williams, DT, Alabama
Thrilled he's here fills need w/stud player.
32 - BAL: Matt Elam, SS, Florida
Will be asked to replace Ed Reed at SS as QB defense and will do it, Ozzie is a genius.
