Author's Comments

This mock is pre-combine, I hope you enjoy.

1 - HOU: Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Louisville
Bridgewater is and always will be the best QB prospect in this Draft.
2 - STL: Jake Matthews, OT, Texas A&M
Would suprise me if Rams shop this pick. If they stay put it could be Clowney, Matthews or Watkins.
3 - JAX: Johnny Manziel, QB, Texas A&M
Manziel will benefit the Jags franchise in many ways, including in the win column
4 - CLE: Jadeveon Clowney, DE , South Carolina
Browns have a huge decision here. I believe the QB class is deep enough to skip Bortles and take the best player in the draft.
5 - OAK: Blake Bortles, QB, Central Florida
Oakland will be hoping 1 of the top 3 QB prospects drop to them.
6 - ATL: Greg Robinson, OT, Auburn
Falcons take the sure thing, an elite prospect on OL.
7 - TB: Sammy Watkins, WR, Clemson
TB stick with Glennon this year and provide him another legit target alongisde Vincent Jackson
8 - MIN: Derek Carr, QB, Fresno State
QB is a need and Vikings pull the trigger here. A bit of a reach but worth it for a QB.
9 - BUF: Marqise Lee, WR , USC
Buffalo picked Robert Woods last year and would have paid close attention to Lee. Bills still need talent at WR.
10 - DET: Anthony Barr, LB, UCLA
Titans are placed nicely to take a top talent due to the reaching of other teams for a QB.
11 - TEN: Khalil Mack, LB , Buffalo
Ray Horton has come to town and will be looking for 3-4 pass rushing OLB's.
12 - NYG: Taylor Lewan, OT, Michigan
Giants could go a number of ways here. Gilbert, Mosley and Evans are all options.
13 - STL: Mike Evans, WR, Texas A&M
The concensus is QB is not a need, so to help Bradford they take Evans.
14 - CHI: Ha'Sean Clinton-Dix, FS, Alabama
Mosely and Ebron are options here. The field is thinning of top prospects but Bears get the top safety here.
15 - PIT: Justin Gilbert, CB, Oklahoma State
Steelers sure up a position that was exposed last season.
16 - DAL: Louis Nix, DT, Notre Dame
Cowboys could go with Mosely or Trent Murphy here.
17 - BAL: Stephon Tuitt, DL , Notre Dame
Ravens know how to draft well and take another rare 3-4 DE prospect to line up across from Ngata.
18 - NYJ: Eric Ebron, TE, North Carolina
With no legit receiving option avaliable Jets take a talented offensive weapon at TE.
19 - MIA: Cyril Richardson, OG, Baylor
Dolphins have to address the issues on Oline.
21 - GB: Trent Murphy, LB, Stanford
Clay Matthews could use some relief on the opposite side and Murphy will wreack some havoc in the NFL.
22 - PHI: Tim Jernigan, DT, Florida State
Eagles need to add some more physicality to the DLine
23 - KC: Darqueze Dennard, CB , Michigan State
Cheifs are loaded already so adding an elite corner is as good a any ways to goo.
24 - CIN: Kelvin Benjamin, WR, Florida State
AJ Green is being double and triple teamed. Bengals could use another talent opposite him.
25 - SD: Kyle Van Noy, OLB, BYU
Chargers could use some help in the secondary but will look to the second round
26 - CLE: Allen Robinson, WR , Penn State
Browns would have liked many of the preivous 10 picked prospect to drop to them. Robinson has the potential to suceed along side other talented recievers in Cleveland.
27 - NO: Ra'Shede Hageman, DL , Minnesota
Saints need some grunt along the DLine and get a great value pick here.
28 - CAR: Kony Ealy, DL , Missouri
A talent to add to the offensive line, good value pick at this point.
29 - NE: David Yankey, G , Stanford
Patriots have a history of taking front 7 defensive players or OLinemen in the first round. This formula works again with Yankey.
30 - SF: Jason Verrett, CB , TCU
49ers are loaded but could use some young talent at CB.
31 - DEN: Cyrus Kouandjio, OL , Alabama
Broncos need to work on protecting Manning.
32 - SEA: Zack Martin, OT, Notre Dame
Seahwaks have no holes in their roster. Martin brings versatility to the Oline.
