Average Rank: 3.5 out of 5 (2 votes) -- Rank This Mock Draft

1 - HOU: Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Louisville
A QB to build on, the window is closed in HOU, time for a quick rebuild. I don't see Clowney fitting the def scheme here. Bortles or Manziel also options.
2 - ATL: Jadeveon Clowney, DE , South Carolina
Sure, I'll throw some trades in! ATL gets coveted pass rusher, I think STL would take a 1st, 3rd and 2015 2nd. Why not?
3 - JAX: Blake Bortles, QB, Central Florida
Big, physical QB that can absorb contact, scramble to extend the play and the arm to go with it. Rothlisberger/Newton type.
4 - CLE: Sammy Watkins, WR, Clemson
Manziel smokescreen fails, Bortles and Teddy B gone. Oline/Def good, offense could be derailed by Gordon mistake. Insurance policy.
5 - OAK: Justin Gilbert, CB, Oklahoma State
Help for an awful secondary,
7 - TB: Anthony Barr, LB, UCLA
Lovie lovies him some defense. Forgive me in advance if some LB picks don't match the scheme, I'm not that smart.
8 - MIN: Khalil Mack, LB , Buffalo
MIN collectively groans as they pass on Manziel, a recurring theme in this draft......Mack is dynamic playmaker that will help an aging defense. Dennard, ClintonDix, Carr, Tuitt, Jernigan all options.
9 - BUF: Taylor Lewan, OT, Michigan
Not a sexy pick, but BUF gets a solid OL with a proven track record
10 - DET: Mike Evans, WR, Texas A&M
Was trying to take Ebron here, but finger kept slipping down to Evans, so I guess thats a sign.
11 - TEN: Derek Carr, QB, Fresno State
Locker is put on notice, Wis gets to draft a qb to build on, instead of what it got in ARI and the Kolb experiment. Manziel looking frustrated in the green room.
12 - NYG: Greg Robinson, OT, Auburn
I would be stunned if NYG didn't get an OL in the first.
13 - STL: Tim Jernigan, DT, Florida State
Everyone has Ha-Ha here, so I'm going in a different direction. They have to stop burning 1sts and 2nds on wrs, get a line (or a QB). On that note, I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't shop Bradford and draft a qb at 2.
14 - CHI: Cyrus Kouandjio, OL , Alabama
CHI has a few holes to plug, but upgrading the OL should still be a priority. Dennard also an option.
15 - PIT: Darqueze Dennard, CB , Michigan State
Gets some new legs in and a great value for DD. MSU fan, watched a lot of him. Good skills, but great "intangibles". One of those "football player" guys, if that makes any sense. Good instincts.
16 - BAL: Marqise Lee, WR , USC
BAL overpaid Flacco and blew up it's SB team, going to take a bit to repair the damage. Lots of needs.
17 - DAL: Ha'Sean Clinton-Dix, FS, Alabama
DAL upgrades it's entire D with this pick.
18 - NYJ: Eric Ebron, TE, North Carolina
Ebron should go higher, but the Jets would be a good fit. So many needs on NYJ, how are they not picking in the top 10?
19 - MIA: Morgan Moses, OT, Virginia
MIA needs to figure out it's Oline after last years drama.
20 - ARI: Antonio Richardson, OL , Tennessee
So hard to figure out what order OT's go before combine, but ARI needs one.
21 - GB: Ra'Shede Hageman, DL , Minnesota
GB goes DEF, a big, physical corner to matchup against Marshall, Jeffery, and oh year, Megatron (and Evans if DET likes him) would also be a logical pick.
22 - PHI: Marcus Roberson, DB , Florida
Bad vs pass, interesting team this year.
23 - KC: Jace Amaro, TE , Texas Tech
KC has nothing on offense outside of JC and a good oline. Don't bother with a wr, Smith won't throw to him anyway. Grab a couple good te's in the offseason instead.
24 - CIN: Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, CB , Oregon
CIN needs to get some youth at CB
25 - SD: Jason Verrett, CB , TCU
Trying to stop Manning will take CB's and DE's. Even if manning leaves, lots of weapons to consider in DEN
26 - CLE: Johnny Manziel, QB, Texas A&M
I really think he falls into the 2nd like Geno, Clausen. His style of play will get him in trouble in the NFL.
27 - NO: Allen Robinson, WR , Penn State
NO has 2 years of a window with Brees, he may play a few more but he can't carry the team forever. Colsten getting old, need a dependable wr not an occasional deep threat.
28 - CAR: Kelvin Benjamin, WR, Florida State
Will this many WRs go in rd 1? I see a lot of need out there...CAR needs something on OFF other than Olsen. They better take another wr somewhere, and sign a FA
31 - DEN: Kony Ealy, DL , Missouri
Needs help on D, a CB would make sense too.
32 - SEA: Louis Nix, DT, Notre Dame
Add strength to a good unit. BPA could be anything here, no real glaring needs on OFF or DEF. Nix likely to go earlier, I just noticed he was on the board so Merry Xmas Seattle!
