2/13 ddunning's Mock Draft
2 - WAS: Ra'Shede Hageman, DL , Minnesota
With their first pick they get a first round talent at a needed position.
3 - CLE: Carlos Hyde, RB , Ohio State
A brusing back that will wear down defenses and hold up throughout the season.
4 - OAK: Derek Carr, QB, Fresno State
Here they get the QB to build around. If Pryor performs well, he can sit and learn, if not he'll be in by mid season.
5 - ATL: Xavier Su'a-Filo, OL , UCLA
Another protection upgrade for Matty Ice.
6 - TB: Brandin Cooks, WR , Oregon State
TB adds slot reciever to round out the WR corps for Glennon.
7 - JAX: Scott Crichton, DE, Oregon State
JAX gets their signal caller and not address a much needed defensive position.
8 - MIN: A.J. McCarron, QB, Alabama
McCarron is moving up on the draft boards and although there is doubt in his transition, there is no doubting his leadership.
9 - BUF: Antonio Richardson, OL , Tennessee
A big body to fill their RT spot immediately, BUF continues to get it right.
10 - TEN: Tre Mason, RB , Auburn
Chris Johnson will likely be cut this off season, even if he is not, a backup plan needs to be put in place in case he under performs.
11 - NYG: Ryan Shazier, LB , Ohio State
Could improve OL but can't let Shazier slip past them here.
12 - STL: Cyril Richardson, OG, Baylor
Dahl is rumored to be cut so that opens a Guard spot, fill it with a big SEC body.
13 - DET: Lamarcus Joyner, CB, Florida State
Lions get a cornerback they need. I was also thinking C Travis Swanson for a soon coming replacement for Raiola.
14 - PIT: Ed Reynolds, S , Stanford
As with CB, it is time to get younger. Reynolds can start immediately.
15 - DAL: Bradley Roby, CB , Ohio State
DAL would love to get an upgrade at Safety, but unless they trade up it would be a reach here, so they fill another need at CB.
16 - BAL: Travis Swanson, C, Arkansas
Swanson is a steal here and Ozzie is king at taking best player available, plus it fills a void.
17 - NYJ: Gabe Jackson, OG, Mississippi State
Another upgrade on offense. The key to Rex's game plan is winning in the trenches.
18 - MIA: Stephon Tuitt, DL , Notre Dame
It is obvious the OL is priority, but they will address the starters in FA and 1st pick; they can work on depth in later rounds. Dolphins have 2 all pro DTs but will only keep one. Tuitt will fill the void for either one that leaves. RB can be an option but I think Miller gets another year with a better line.
19 - CHI: Kyle Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech
In a division with QB's Rodgers and Stafford, keeping your DB fresh and deep is a must.
21 - GB: Aaron Donald, DL , Pittsburgh
A flexible DL that can provide help on the outside and inside of the line, exactly what the Pack needs.
22 - PHI: Kyle Van Noy, OLB, BYU
A high energy LB, with length and speed, exactly what Chip likes in his players.
23 - CIN: Trevor Reilly, DE , Utah
At 6'5 250, Reilly figures to project at OLB at the next level, something the Bengals need.
24 - SF: Jordan Matthews, WR, Vanderbilt
Adding another big target for Colin would not hurt and Boldin is not getting younger.
25 - SD: Elliott Jeffcoat, S , Oklahoma State
***JACKSON JEFFCOAT-DE/LB-TEXAS*** SD takes a shot to find their pass rusher.
26 - NO: Telvin Smith, LB , Florida State
Smith will need to put a little weight on to play LB in the NFL. I heard that he might even transition to Safety. Either way win win for the Saints.
27 - IND: Jack Mewhort, OL , Ohio State
Upgrading the OL is number one priority, LB and WR is another option. Would not be surprised to see them take Devonte Adams out of Fresno.
28 - CAR: Loucheiz Purifoy, DB , Florida
The decision to either go OL or CB is what the Panthers need to decide here, but I think this is the best selection available.
29 - SF: Victor Hampton, CB , South Carolina
Adding a CB to the mix would be wise for SF to do early on, with the group of WRs they see in their division.
30 - NE: DaQuan Jones, DT , Penn State
The Pats need a future replacement for Wilfork and a backup to give him rest and in case of reinjury.
31 - DEN: Stanley Jean-Baptiste, CB , Nebraska
It was apparent in the SB that CB was a position to be addressed in the off season. Champ is a HOF DB but he is not capable of one on one coverage for a season and better suited for the nickle.
32 - SEA: Will Adams, WR , Western Kentucky
***DAVONTE ADAMS-WR-FRESNO STATE*** WRs Tate and Bladwin are FAs and not that great to begin with. They will atleast get the same production here, with a lower cost.

Average -- I have no idea why people are mocking tackles to the vikings

Above Average -- nice job, some gutsy picks, but overall pretty good

Average -- McCarron is moving up draft boards? Since when? Last I checked, mid-round QBs who inexplicably skip the Sr Bowl don't move up until at least the combine.

-- Just things I have been hearing on ESPN. GMs are calling him a natural leader and the 5th or 6th best QB in this draft...which does not really say much when it comes to QBs. I can not see MIN pulling another Qb reach in 1st unless they trade up.
