Author's Comments

1 - HOU: Jadeveon Clowney, DE , South Carolina
Mock's are composed of either predictions or suggestions - here's one that's both .
2 - STL: Jake Matthews, OT, Texas A&M
Family ties too strong
3 - JAX: Khalil Mack, LB , Buffalo
They target a QB later and go best player .
4 - CLE: Sammy Watkins, WR, Clemson
Potent WR tandem forming - for VY ? hold that thought .
5 - OAK: Mike Evans, WR, Texas A&M
This is gonna crush TB but Oak needs a target for their bum QB .
6 - ATL: Greg Robinson, OT, Auburn
Looks like a gift
7 - TB: Taylor Lewan, OT, Michigan
Wanted Evans , settles for a LT .
8 - MIN: Aaron Donald, DL , Pittsburgh
New HC = New QB , just not here . They take the best pass rusher left .
9 - BUF: Odell Beckham, WR , LSU
maybe Mosley or Martin but the WR run is my guess .
10 - DET: Justin Gilbert, CB, Oklahoma State
Him or DD - he's bigger and faster so let's stay with him .
11 - TEN: Anthony Barr, LB, UCLA
Whiz may wait for McCarron , they need a pass rusher .
12 - NYG: Zack Martin, OT, Notre Dame
Not that it will help the INT ATM .
13 - STL: Calvin Pryor, S, Louisville
Best at position , one of these picks may get traded .
14 - CHI: Tim Jernigan, DT, Florida State
one of the better interior pass rushers
16 - BAL: C.J. Mosley, OLB, Alabama
Too hard to pass on
17 - SF: Marqise Lee, WR , USC
Trade - SF has many picks , few roster spots - to get here they give Dal pick 30 , pick 56 and their 4th
18 - NYJ: Brandin Cooks, WR , Oregon State
Weapon for bad QBs
19 - MIA: Cyrus Kouandjio, OL , Alabama
OTs and WRs dominate 1st round
23 - KC: Derek Carr, QB, Fresno State
This reaction will pale the McNabb one and send Clev into a funk .
24 - CIN: Bradley Roby, CB , Ohio State
Boy's Town - send any less than ideal prospect here
25 - HOU: Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Louisville
First Reid's shocker at 23 and now this , Clev is floored - Hou sends 2015 1st and pick 33 to SD .
26 - CLE: Tom Savage, QB , Pittsburgh
A panicked Clev turns in wrong card , this was their 2nd round pick , oh well .
27 - NO: Xavier Su'a-Filo, OL , UCLA
Brees needs to stay upright
28 - CAR: Morgan Moses, OT, Virginia
late OT run benefits 2nd rounder
29 - NE: Austin Seferian-Jenkins, TE , Washington
TE at some point is no mystery , snuck in a good pro day .
30 - DAL: Kony Ealy, DL , Missouri
pass rush help scarce
31 - DEN: Jason Verrett, CB , TCU
Decker's replacement

Above Average -- If this scenario plays out, Steelers would take Ebron. They need a big receiver, though not necessarily a WR. Pretty creative mock. I agree about QBs. I would not take any of them in the 1st round.

Above Average -- Good picks, almost gave you a 5. I just really think Eagles will go CB (Roby?). KC will go WR (Cooks if they want speed, Benjamin if they want size). And Richardson is a reach

Below Average -- No way seattle sees Aaron Donald. I would love it but it is a pipe dream. No odell beckham?.

-- Thanks for commenting - Odell could be swapped for Richardson but don't be surprised if he's taken sooner than expected - of his 83 catches last year 50 were 1st downs and another 10 were scores - even in a deep class he'll get noticed .

Average -- Solid until the Savage pick. Overall, good choices
