2013 Outlook:

Two of the Cowboys' running backs (Felix Jones, DeMarco Murray) have a history of injuries and a third (Tashard Choice) can't seem to escape the dog house. That scenario could leave a fourth party as the sleeper candidate and that's what the 6-0, 222-pound Miller was looking like before the preseason. However he did not stand out in the Cowboys opener, which could give the Cowboys pause about dumping Choice if they found a proper suitor. The starting back on this team has value, no doubt, and there is a potential path for Miller to become that guy. But for now it's a road filled with ifs and buts, making the big back a waiver wire play, but one worth monitoring.
