Brandon Saine was on the practice squad for a good portion of the 2011 season, yet managed to see the field toward the end of the year. The Packers will likely have an open competition for who will be the team's primary backup behind James Starks. Saine is in that conversation of course, but he'll also be competing with second-year back Alex Green. Saine was an undrafted free agent, while Green was a third-round choice. Consider Saine the No. 3 back behind Starks and Green.
