2013 Outlook: Sleeper (undervalued)

Last updated on May-28-2013 by Matt De Lima

With WR Titus Young out of town and potentially dealing with mental illness, the Lions must soldier on and Ryan Broyles will be asked to step up. He tore his left ACL his senior year at Oklahoma and then tore his right ACL last year. Broyles was a second round pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. He caught 22 passes for 310 yards and two scores last year. Most of that production came in a big game against the Houston Texans where he hauled in six balls for 126 yards. Broyles will work the slot at 5'10" and 188 pounds. Once fully recovered, he could challenge WR Nate Burleson for the No. 2 role.

2013 FFToolbox Expert Mock Draft #2
July 2nd 2013
10.03 Fantasy Football QB - I hear there are a few pass attempts in Detroit, maybe a few can go in the direction of the NCAA record holder for receptions.
2013 FFToolbox Expert Mock Draft #1
June 25th, 2013
10.11 CBSSports - Put Broyles on all your sleeper lists, especially in PPR formats, since he's expected to at least be the slot receiver for the Lions. Keep in mind Matthew Stafford set an NFL record last year in pass attempts, and Broyles looked great when healthy. Of course, two ACL tears in as many years is a risk, but his upside makes him worth it in this spot.
2013 FFToolbox Expert Mock Draft #3
July 9th, 2013
10.08 TheHuddle - When your QB puts the ball in the air 700 times you have to have some upside. Broyles is a guy that I think we'll see creep up in ADP once camps get under way.
