2009 Outlook: Over the Hill (decreased production)
Engram is one of the big name veterans the Chiefs brought in this season to help the younger players. The 14 year veteran will be looked to by the coaching staff to provide guidance to the young receivers on the team. As I mentioned before, it wouldn't surprise me to see the second receiver position filled by a rookie or second year receiver. Engram's position, however, should be safe. Bobby has been a solid receiver over his career and playing the slot this season should be the perfect fit for him. I wouldn't expect Bobby to post solid fantasy numbers this year, but look for him to provide the veteran leadership this young staff needs.

RapidDraft.com - I vehemently refuse to take a kicker before the final round, so I'll go for another receiver in the "safe" PPR category. Engram has a low scoring ceiling but a pretty high floor, especially on a team with no real proven receiving option behind Dwayne Bowe. (Counting on more than 8 games from Mark Bradley?) |

RapidDraft.com - If Engram can stay healthy, he should settle into a guaranteed four catches a week for a team that figures to have to pass quite a bit. That's solid spot-starter output at this point in the draft. |
