Peyton Manning, QB, Broncos

Position/Rank NFL Team Status Experience Age Height Weight
QB - #4 DEN Probable 17 years 38 6'5 230

2013 Outlook: Stud (low risk)

Last updated on Aug-13-2013 by Jeb Gorham

Peyton Manning's return to the NFL was a triumph. Throwing for over 4,600 yards with 37 TDs made him a desireable fantasy stud once again. There were skeptics last season, but I think any doubts are erased moving forward. Manning will control the pace of his offense and challenge any opponent this coming season. He should be back near the top of your fantasy radar and picked with confidence.

2.12 FFToolbox - Jeb Gorham - You have to look at Manning's receiving core - Thomas, Welker, Decker, Tamme and the fact that he will have some younger RBs to mix things up in Ball and Hillman. In my opinion, Manning had to go at this stage given the fact that Brees and Rodgers went early in this draft.

5.06 World Ranked Player #26 - I do not usually take QB's early but wanted to try it here and I think Manning is poised for a big year with his 3 big weapons. He has 40 tds and 5000 potential this year. In the 5th I think its worth a shot.
2013 FFToolbox Expert Mock Draft #1

5.05 FFToolbox -Scott - My cardinal rule of Fantasy. Never turn down Peyton Manning in the 5th. While my usual strategy is to be the last guy to take a QB, I can't break my cardinal rule. Manning in the 5th. Manning enters every season trying to become the best Quarterback in the game, and he has the best chance he's ever had with the trio of WRs at his disposal and a championship calibre defense.
