2009 Outlook: Deep-league OnlyAfter 11 seasons in Jacksonville, Taylor was let go due to the emergence of Maurice Jones-Drew as well as his worst season rushing (556 yards) and least amount of touchdowns (1) since 2001. While Taylor might be effective as a change of pace runner for the Patriots, he won't be a very useful fantasy player.
August 15, 2009 As it stands right now, there is a good chance that Fred Taylor will be the starting running back when the season starts, but with the log jam at running back in New England, that doesn't mean much.
