2011 Outlook: Gamble (high risk)
Jake Delhomme is coming off of an awful season in Carolina; he threw for just 183.2 yards per game. During his previous six seasons with the Panthers he never failed to eclipse the 200 yard per game mark. He also threw just eight touchdowns and was picked off 18 times. Both of those numbers are his worst since he went to Carolina prior to the 2003-2004 campaign. That leads many to believe that the 35 year old is over the hill and his NFL career is all but over. However, there is another side to the story. A change of scenery and a fresh start in Cleveland might just be what he needs to pull off another solid season or two before calling it a career. If that is the case, Delhomme could be a fantasy sleeper. However, it is just as likely that Delhomme will continue to struggle and the Browns will pull him in favor of Seneca Wallace.
