2012 Outlook: Solid/Safe Pick
Last updated on Aug-13-2012 by Vin SadicarioReggie Wayne returns to the Colts as the lone offensive star from the Colt's glory days. The veteran wide receiver has a big name, but fantasy owners need to realize that despite Andrew Luck now running the Colts offense, Wayne will not put up the same numbers he did with Peyton Manning. The former Pro Bowler should be considered a low end WR2 or high end WR3 for the upcoming season. He should lead the Colts in targets and receiving yards.

2012 Experts Mock Draft (June) June 6, 2012 - June 25, 2012 |
6.09 | FFToday.com - Wayne makes a great late drafted WR3, the 30th WR off the board in this draft. He's got a rookie QB, but one that couldn't be more highly touted as a passer coming into the league. Targets should be plentiful for Wayne. Even with modest TD expectations, Wayne is going to make up a lot of points on receptions. Some extremely good WR options in the last half dozen off the board, such as Steve Johnson, Antonio Brown, Torrey Smith and Eric Decker. |

7.08 | FFToday.com - Sure, Reggie Wayne is 33 which marks a downward trajectory to his career from here on out, but I love the value at this stage of the draft and happy to add him as my WR3. I essentially got another Marques Colston three rounds later. Wayne earned 75-960-4 last season with a complete disaster at QB last season when Peyton Manning couldn't guide the ship. Rookie Andrew Luck is an immediate upgrade, and while I'm sure the Colts will continue to struggle to a degree, Luck with Bruce Arians at OC will air it out and lean heavily on the established veteran receiver. |

7.03 | FootballGuys.com - Savvy veteran wide receiver who is the Colts #1 guy, and he has a good QB again in Luck. Garbage time counts too :) |
