2012 Outlook: Quality Backup
Last updated on May-10-2012 by Rob WarnerThis unit finished 19th in fantasy production in 2011 and will have to deal with the loss of their best CB Cortland Finnegan (signed with St Louis). Tennessee generated just 28 sacks last season, but did sign DE Kamerion Wimbley (16 sacks in last two years). They spent a 2nd round pick on OLB Zach Brown (North Carolina) and 3rd rounder on DT Mike Martin (Michigan) - both players could start in their rookie season. The Titans boast one of the better special-teams units (five touchdowns in past two years), but their overall DEF/ST unit remains a matchup play at best in 12-14 team leagues.

19.12 | FantasySharks.com - The Titans are an up and coming defense having spent the majority of their draft on defensive players. After phenom receiver Kendall Wright in the 1st, the Titans went all defense sans a TE pick later in the draft. The Titans D is a favorite late round deep sleeper that I have been adding in deep drafts like this one. |

20.03 | KFFL.com - Didn't anticipate both of my favorites for my second defense going at the turn. Oh well. Tennessee has a lot of young talent. They're raw, but they have the personnel to create turnovers. |
