2008 Outlook: Deep-league Only

There is not much value in the tight end position in Miami. Yet, David Martin could be a solid backup tight end in deep leagues…if he can beat out Anthony Fasano. Fasano is a much better blocker than Martin and that should put Fasano ahead of Martin on the depth chart, but that does not mean the trio of Miami quarterbacks will not look to the 6-4 Martin on occasion. Keep an eye on the chemistry between the Dolphins quarterbacks and their tight ends before wasting a draft pick on Martin. John Beck should be the starter, but Josh McCown and Chad Henne are not out of the picture.
