2009 Outlook: Bye Week Fill-in
When Andre Johnson was lost for 7 games in 2007 Kevin became the team's go to receiver. His numbers were better than most expected, leaving fantasy owners wondering if he could have a repeat performance in 2008. When the season came to a close Walter had finished with 60 receptions for 899 yards and 8 touchdowns. Apparently Walter's 2007 numbers were not a fluke and he can now be counted on to post good numbers each week. If you're looking for a quality bye week filler, then Kevin is your man.

FFToolbox.com - Having filled in the main portion of my roster, I can go in almost direction, but I feel like the depth at receiver is the thinnest. Walter does not have the Q-rating that many NFL receivers enjoy, but he produces all the same. He posted a stat line of 60-899-8 a season ago and those numbers could tick up if this potent offense takes it up a notch, as many expect. |

FFToday.com - Since I grabbed Gonzalez early I'm a little weaker at WR than other positions with Avery and Berrian manning the WR2 spot. It doesn't hurt to throw another name into that rotation, especially an established vet who has been a decent PPR contributor each of the past 2 seasons. |

FFToday.com - WR is the position I'm least confident about on my squad (and FFF's squad drafting next ;) ), so back to the well at WR I go. I'm buying into the high expectations being heaped onto the Texans offense this off-season, and Walter represents acceptable value at this spot. |
