2009 Outlook: Stud (low risk)

Jackson is BY FAR the best thing the Rams have going and you can be sure the team will be relying heavily on him again this year. No one questions Jackson's fantasy value: he's a bruising runner who's just as dangerous catching the ball in space as he is running out of the backfield. The only concern has been with his durability; he's missed significant chunks of the last two seasons due to injury. Despite the setbacks, he has continuously averaged over 4 yards per carry and is a likely candidate to lead the league in rushing, given a healthy 16 games. With improvements to the offensive line and with the added blocking help from new FB acquisition John Karney, Jackson enters this season with a good chance to reclaim his spot amongst the league's top fantasy performers.

Despite the obvious "Rams aren't very good angle", I like Jackson because he has the entire backfield to himself (unlike Chris Johnson), catches passes (unlike Turner) and plays in the meh NFC West. Now if he can just stay healthy...
