2012 Outlook: Stud (low risk)
Last updated on Aug-08-2012 by Matt De LimaEveryone already knows how great Rodgers is. He threw for a career high 4,643 passing yards and had 48 total TDs. Green Bay led the league with 560 points scored. Rodgers is still in the prime of his career and is without question the top quarterback in the NFL. He didn't even play in Week 17 and was likely your league's top scorer regardless. The reigning MVP will be one of the first picks in your draft, so don't expect him to last long.
Update (8/8): If fantasy owners want to land Rodgers, they'd best have one of the first four or five picks in their draft. The former Cal standout is still universally considered the top quarterback in fantasy football. At the age of 28, he may be entering his prime.

2012 Experts Mock Draft (June) June 6, 2012 - June 25, 2012 |
1.07 | FFToolbox.com (Ben) - To me, this is the tricky spot in round one. Prefer going with an RB, but I don't 100% trust the remaining options. Could go WR, but there is much depth within the position this year. Same argument could be made at QB, but the difference is the elite are true difference makers so I'll take the biggest difference maker of them all. |

1.08 | FFToday.com - The great thing about fantasy football in 2012 is you can start with any of the 4 skill positions to build your team around. I'm not in love with taking a QB this early (old habits), so it isnt something I planned going into the draft, but I do respect the advantage of Rodgers so I'll be flexible and tag him here. |

1.09 | FFToolbox.com (Matt) - Rodgers at 1.09? Wow. I'll take it. Usually you can expect him to be gone by 1.05 at the latest. |
