2009 Outlook: Stud (low risk)Most players that set career-high yardage totals from scrimmage and score nine touchdowns are feted on the post-season rubber chicken circuit, but Marion Barber's '08 campaign did not quite reach the level of fantasy hype heaped upon him following the departure of Julius Jones. Injuries curtailed the Barbarian's production down the stretch (perhaps in part to the physical runner being used more than he was in his previous "closer" capacity), and his YPC average dipped to a career-low 3.7 yards. The buzz in the off-season has the Cowboys looking to move Barber back to that role and wise fantasy owners will be rewarded as that should keep him fresher throughout the season. He will not be among the first handful of players drafted this season, but Barber remains one of the top all-around backs in the game and fantasy owners will toast him after a 1,200 combined yards/double digits TD season.
